Stopped here for dinner after seeing the holiday train at Union depot. The atmosphere is fun and the drinks were good. I got the pasta experience, or the pasta bar, and found it to average. The whole concept is cool in that they cook it while you're in line, but the quality of ingredients left me wishing for more. The... More

This was actually my 2nd visit to the restaurant the first time I went was about 3 years ago and never forgot the great pasta bar. I went again this week and it was just a great as I remember if not better. Great Taste and lots of food for a decent price!

I took customers here for lunch. The lunch pasta bar is so good here. You pick your sauce, vege's, meats, and then noodles. They cook it while you wait. The food is terrific and the portions are very generous and I usually end up making two meals out the portion...

We were in town for the marathon a few weeks ago, and my mom always eats spaghetti and meatballs before the race. Even though they were obviously packed, the hostess slid us in to a great table. The architecture of the restaurant is lovely with high ceilings, a big front window wall, and cool old machinery and things decorating the... More

We took the new light rail Green line from Minneapolis to St Paul and at the end of the line we got out and didn't see a thing. My app on my iPhone said to go up two blocks to Trattoria da Vinci that it's a local Resturant bringing you Italian so you didn't have to go to Italy. Well... More

This time we came with a group of nine old friends from out of town. We road the Green Line from the Midway area. We were pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and took our drink orders. People ordered a variety of pasta dishes as well as the ribeye. Everyone commented on how delicious the entrees... More

The restaurant had a very charming atmosphere. Restrooms were outside of the restaurant (in a business courtyard and down a flight of stairs). They were out of one of the featured dishes so we had a substitute. One of liked it, one did not. The other entrees was walleye. Walleye was overdone, and rubbery. Obviously previously frozen. We spoke to... More

If you like Italian and have a big appetite try this place! We have been about a dozens times and it has yet to disappoint. Our experience has been so great that we even hosted a party for 20 people here and many are still raving to this day. There is a pasta bar where you choose your noodle type,... More

Great pasta bar, Great service. Nice place to have a "Date Night" feel. If you happen to go on the weekend, you will hear the sweet sounds of a man playing good tunes on his guitar. Very clean restaurant that focuses on customer service. Also very reasonably priced! The pasta bar has Different Veggies, Meats, Noodles to choose from on... More
