Description: We were the first creamery in the Twin Cities to serve premium ice cream...
We were the first creamery in the Twin Cities to serve premium ice cream. For 30 years families, friends, and even tourists have been coming to our ice cream shop to take part in this piece of the local experience. We serve your traditional favorites like chocolate or vanilla, but we suggest trying one of our original flavors like "Black Hills Gold" and "Sweet Cream". We are always rotating between our over 300 flavors, so be sure to come back again and again to try them all! This location also has a pizzeria. Along with delicious pizza, we serve fresh salads and hoagies. Come grab lunch or dinner and then enjoy a cone for dessert. We also offer delivery and online ordering. We can also cater your next event, host your next party, and even offer wholesale ice cream options. Email or call us for more information.

Fresh made ice cream - What's not to like!

If you haven't been to the Grand Old Creamery, no offense, but you must be new in town. This place is a local treasure. If you haven't been, or haven't been in a while, make an excuse and get over to Grand Avenue and enjoy.

on a hot summer night you will find the line out the door. When you walk in the smell of waffle cones being cooked in front of your eyes is to die for. Malted Milk ball at the bottom of cone keeps the ice cream from hitting your toes. Yummy!!!

Came here with our daughter and her college roommate. Rarely do we go out for ice cream, so this was a big treat. The waffle cones are made there and the ice cream was to DIE FOR! It was expensive, but worth every penny.

Service was fantastic and the ice cream was amazing!!! It's a lot of ice cream so order a little smaller size than you'd normally eat.

Oh my gosh! As soon as we walked into this quaint little shop, the aromas were wonderful! Their ice creams are delicious and their cones are just as tasty! In fact, you would enjoy the cones alone if you had to!!! This is a small shop to eat in but don't let that stop you, the environment is friendly and... More

I am a Grand Ole Creamery lover vs Izzys. Its just a classic place. I have walked here so many times (often on my way home from yoga) that I will hold them liable for atleast 5 pounds that have not left me. You just gotta go here. PS: the ice cream is expensive but the servings are huge. Ask... More

Grand Ole Creamery never fails in providing great service, great ice cream, and delicious new flavors. I recently moved to St. Paul and love going here for a quick ice cream cone.

We stopped here for the first time and we're happily surprised. The place smells amazing and the home made waffle cones are delicious. A one scoop in a waffle cone was impossible to finish. Lots of ice cream choices and it was very good!! Definitely recommend!

Best turkey sub I've ever had at the Grand pizzeria. Garlic cheese bread is incredible as well as the pizza. The ice cream options are the true ending to the meal.

We went there based on other reviews. We have had ice cream everywhere from LA to Tuscany. This was nothing special and the lady that served us was not big on service at all and quite unhelpful. The portions are generous with price to match. The atmosphere was nothing special. If you judge the product on it's own merits not... More
