Description: We were the first creamery in the Twin Cities to serve premium ice cream...
We were the first creamery in the Twin Cities to serve premium ice cream. For 30 years families, friends, and even tourists have been coming to our ice cream shop to take part in this piece of the local experience. We serve your traditional favorites like chocolate or vanilla, but we suggest trying one of our original flavors like "Black Hills Gold" and "Sweet Cream". We are always rotating between our over 300 flavors, so be sure to come back again and again to try them all! This location also has a pizzeria. Along with delicious pizza, we serve fresh salads and hoagies. Come grab lunch or dinner and then enjoy a cone for dessert. We also offer delivery and online ordering. We can also cater your next event, host your next party, and even offer wholesale ice cream options. Email or call us for more information.

Delicious Ice cream

Walking in to Grand Ole Creamery, you get blasted with the scent of freshly baking waffle cones. Lots of choices of ice crams. The single scoop is huge! Its $5 for the single scoops and its like the size of a softball. Go here hungry!

In these days of factory-like boutique ice cream chains, Grand Ole Creamery still holds its own. Reminiscent of the old mom and pop small town ice cream purveyors (notice I did not say parlours: none of the old fashioned stools lining a formica counter equipped with soda pour/taps that you see in the old movies). Ice cream is good, flavors... More

Had the sweet cream ice cream with pecans. So yummy you don't want a lot of stuff on it to distract you from the good ice cream.

Had something like mexican chocolate (woven with cinnamon); rich, creamy, incredible flavors, most flavors discrete rather than just melded together. Service and interior nice.

If you haven't been to the Grand Old Creamery, no offense, but you must be new in town. This place is a local treasure. If you haven't been, or haven't been in a while, make an excuse and get over to Grand Avenue and enjoy.

on a hot summer night you will find the line out the door. When you walk in the smell of waffle cones being cooked in front of your eyes is to die for. Malted Milk ball at the bottom of cone keeps the ice cream from hitting your toes. Yummy!!!

Came here with our daughter and her college roommate. Rarely do we go out for ice cream, so this was a big treat. The waffle cones are made there and the ice cream was to DIE FOR! It was expensive, but worth every penny.

Service was fantastic and the ice cream was amazing!!! It's a lot of ice cream so order a little smaller size than you'd normally eat.

Oh my gosh! As soon as we walked into this quaint little shop, the aromas were wonderful! Their ice creams are delicious and their cones are just as tasty! In fact, you would enjoy the cones alone if you had to!!! This is a small shop to eat in but don't let that stop you, the environment is friendly and... More
