Visited this location for the first time, after wanting to stop by for the last year or so. Definitely very impressed with the nice Decor, excellent Tap beer selection, and kitchen viewing from the bar area of the large coal-fired pizza oven. It only takes about five minutes to get your pizza done, the staff was very friendly and attentive,... More

I decided to stop there because of the good reviews. I had a spectacular pizza with artichokes and Persian beef (spicy ground beef). There were many toppings to choose from including some of their combos or make your own pizza topping combination. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. The pizza was quite delicious. I couldn't decide... More

We brought our grandkids here prior to a visit to the Science Museum. It was very tasty pizza. The kids had the cheese pizza and we had the fennel sausage, salami and green olive special. The thin crust was delicious. A previous reviewer's comment about the reserved parking spaces behind the building made parking a breeze. The building currently has... More

We just dropped in to the Black Sheep at noon because it was close to our hotel and it look popular. The place was extremely busy, but we were seated very promptly. The service was quick and attentive. The menu was outstanding, there were five of us eating. All ordered something different and all were well pleased with their selections.... More

Since we've discovered Black Sheep Pizza we're cursed with craving this often. It's a shame it's on my way home from work with the construction taking me downtown St Paul. Parking is hit or miss off street but they have a lot in back. Our favs are: kids love the Sicilian which is thicker crust with sweet & savory red... More

I traveled to St. Paul on business wanting to try out some of the local spots and the Black Sheep did not disappoint! First the selection of local/craft brew is OK but it's not the beer you come for at Black Sheep. I ordered the Fennel Sausage, Fennel Sausage, Hot Salami, and green olive pizza. The sausage is made at... More

My husband and I come here at least once a month. Their pizza is so unique and the ingredients are excellent and worth the price you pay. Staff and service are also excellent. Our favorite pizza starts with the tomato basil and we add on the sliced smoked mozzarella, sausage, and garlic. The result is a very light and satisfying... More

In my ongoing search, as work takes me around the nation, for those resteraunts which have soul, I was pleased with my decision to venture out into a cold and raining evening for a bite at the Black Sheep -- curious that my favorite place in Frederick MD is the Black Hog (a trend perhaps?). This is a lovely local... More

We had a couple of great pizzas (don't miss the Sicilean) before a MN Wild game. The street meters are off after 5:00 PM so we parked in front, ate in an hour, and then parked closer to the Arena. It is walkable on a nice evening. The pizzas were very good, and the beers were excellent (quality and variety).... More
