Black Sheep has a limited menu - mostly pizza. But it is very good pizza. Very good. We always get appetizers such as the grilled veggies. There are 5 comfortable booths plus some other tables. This is our main place to stop if we need to grab a dinner in downtown Saint Paul.

This is not your average pizza joint, a little more upscale. It has the atmosphere and pizza to go along with it. I am not a pizza snob but do enjoy a good slice. Nice thin pizza with good sauce and fresh toppings. We shared a large pizza between two of us and we devoured it.

I stopped here after enjoying a beer flight at Tin Whiskers with a friend. It was a short walk to find Black Sheep. We came right around the dinner hour and despite the place being packed, we got right in! Service was fantastic, only out matched by the food! They had a great selection of local craft beer. Two of... More

In a hurry for lunch and don't want to do fast food? The meatball and garlic pizza with their chop salad was enough for three of us to split and so yummy. In and out in less than an hour. Perfect!

Really enjoyed the crust. Lots or great choices as well as build your own choices. Quick service even during lunch hour. We'll be back.

You are able to order your traditional pizza or you can order their speciality pizzas. They make their own meatballs and sausage there. I highly suggest trying a pizza with a meat selection. You can also split the pizza into two different selections. My husband and I were very impressed.

This place rocks. Love the meatball pizza, thin, crispy and super fresh ingredients. Not heavy at all. Add the spinach salad with buttermilk blue cheese dressing. Comes in a silver bowl with tongs, and they don't skimp on the dressing. Had the roasted veggies and they are very good and creative. You can't go wrong here, Sunday afternoons are a... More

Decided to stop here when we were in town for the football game. It was very busy and would have been about a 30 minute wait, except we choose to sit at the bar, which i loved. Got to watch them making all the pizzas and could see right into the coal fire oven. Pizza was very good, had the... More

It was esay to find. It was an affordable pie. My wife and I had a small pizza. Half cheese and half Canadian Bacon. The meat was meaty. The cheese was cheesy. The sauce was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The crust was light and airy. They brought out our pie rather quickly. We ordered a house salad... More

Visited this location for the first time, after wanting to stop by for the last year or so. Definitely very impressed with the nice Decor, excellent Tap beer selection, and kitchen viewing from the bar area of the large coal-fired pizza oven. It only takes about five minutes to get your pizza done, the staff was very friendly and attentive,... More
