Really awesome food and cool place

So when I visit my parents in the Twin Cities, we often hit a few of our usual favorite places. That's nice and comforting. But my Mom always says "I want to to go to Brasa sometime when you're here." We finally did. All of our dishes were great - we had pulled pork, pulled chicken, and... read more

We saw Brasa featured on a rerun of Man Vs. Food and decided we should try it. The food was fantastic, the flavor of the slow cooked pork mixed with the jalapeno spinach, rice, and topped with an egg was incredible. I did not see a single item on the menu that I didn't want to try. Can't wait to... More

Brasa is one of our favorite restaurants- fresh, organic, quick and friend service and something a bit difference! The yuca fries are out of this world!

Loved the food, actually I miss it now. I was craving some rice and black beans and it was excellent. Very good food, interesting atmosphere as well, very nice service.

No matter what I do in my own kitchen, I could never turn out a meat dish as expertly prepared as Brasa. If you want tender, melt in your mouth cuisine, this is the place for you. It's a foodie paradise. The selection has every dietary style covered. The atmosphere is unique and the wait staff friendly and professional. The... More

We love Brasa. The food is really good, yet simple. The atmosphere is relaxed. Its in a renovated garage. The garage doors open in nice weather. My only complaint is the noise level. It can get really loud during busy hours. But I would put up with the noise to enjoy the food.

I went to Brasa with a couple of people and we shared several dishes. The pulled pork was delicious. It was very juicy and you didn't need any topping, the meal was so good on it's own. We also tried several sides. The collared greens and fried plantains were my favorite. The fried plantains were sweet so they were almost... More

The food here is really awesome, no doubt about it! We have gone here many times and our only complaint is that the service is really inconsistently bad. Sometimes it's ok, but usually... We leave disappointed. It does not necessarily stop us from coming occasionally but we don't make it our regular spot!

We were visiting our kids in St. Paul and I "googled" Latin restaurants and thank goodness we found this GEM!! The service was good on our first trip, but the meal was amazing, the chicken was seasoned to perfection, the rice and beans were flawless, the fried yucca and tostones were just like we have at home. We ate to... More

I have been frequenting Brasa for many years. Each time I dine it is a new and amazing experience. The food is melt in your mouth good. The plantains and chicken, love them. If you have not tried the food here you are missing out!
