Scusi, 'scuse me?

I'm at a loss. When Scusi first opened my wife and I gave it a try. I don't recollect what we ate. I do remember being bored. We both commented..."Boring." We never went back. Until days ago. Friends wanted to try it. We agreed. I have great memories of Italian food while growing up in NY. The... read more

The food is good, the ambiance is "busy" and noisy (but o.k.) and the staff is helpful but seem a bit overwhelmed. The homemade gnocchi is delicious and unique. It's very light and not chewy/gummy. The pizza is delicious with a fabulous crust. A fun place for big groups. Nice outdoor seating on the sidewalk, too. A great neighborhood place.

Sorry, but this is just o.k. - not bad if you want to try something new, but don't expect a lot. This is owned by the Blue Plate Restaurant Company, the same company that runs the popular Groveland Tap, Highland Grill, Longfellow Grill, etc. Popular but not impressive.

First, the pizzas can be good. It has been hit and miss over our three visits, but mostly good pizzas. The price for their wine is ridiculously high and they try to promote the wines as special so they can charge $15 a glass at Happy Hour. Beer selection from their sister brewery is worth it, though. Service is what... More

We went for the happy hour (which offers delicious fried risotto balls, arancini, and pizzas for $5) and ended up ordering some other items off the menu as well. Everything tasted good, and the service was good as well. Attentive and kind, but not too much. I've been here several times, and had good experiences every time.

I love Risotto! Unfortunately, very few Italian restaurants in MN serve it and even fewer use the veg stock which is a must for the vegetarian me! Thank God for Scusi! It was our 10th wedding anniversary. Hubby surfed the web and after tons of disappointing restaurants with little or no vegetarian options for me, he stumbled upon Scusi. After... More

Good service, attentive but not impatient. Happy hour prices were very good. The 3 of us had a couple of good pizzas and Arancini, crispy risotto balls, with roasted red pepper aioli all at $5. Also enjoyed 3 different wines at $2 off. Then we enjoyed sharing a fine Cesar salad, a spaghetti carbonara, and more wine. While we all... More

I had hoped for a pleasant experience at this Italian restaurant in our neighborhood. We came with another couple for a Friday night dinner and were warmly welcomed by the hostess and waitress, but immediately we had qualms because the room was practically vibrating from all the noise. Tables were full and close together, all the surfaces are hard, plus... More

I ate at this restaurant with five family members representing three generations ranging in age from 19 to 94. On a Friday evening, the restaurant was full. The service was top notch: polite, attentive, friendly, and as efficient as possible given the crowd. That's the plus side. But the noise level was totally unacceptable: the oldest member of our party... More

This restaurant was amazing, I actually too a shot at this place I had heard rave reviews, on the radio, but never tried it. I was given the opportunity to plan a dinner for a work function, inside sales manager meeting, on September 24th Hannah, our server she was Great, the food was simply beautifully done.
