This is a very popular cafe, at least for Sunday brunch. Lots of happy eaters, mainly but not all of them youngish. My wife and I met a friend there. He's a long time local so his recommendation carried the day. He recommended Eggs Benedict so my wife ordered that. It was ok, probably a 3.5 on a 5 point... More

Went here with the boyfriend prior to a family gathering. He had an omelette and said it was the best he has had. I had the cornbread pancakes and they were delicious! Would totally go back.

While shopping in St Paul the Neighborhood Cafe is a great place to take a break and enjoy good eats at a reasonable price! You're only problem will be choosing what to order. It all sounded so good! So we ordered both breakfast and lunch. Lol Loved their potato bacon cheese soup and turkey avocado on marble rye! Their chocolate... More

When we went into the Neighborhood Cafe on trip one, we were overwhelmed with the hustle and bustle of the staff, the quantity and quality of the food, and also the fun that everyone seemed to have. So we went back to try something different and to try a different day and an evening meal (trip one was for lunch).... More

First time stopping at the neighborhood cafe- it is great find! From having a coffee in the tables out front, to the old school diner bar, this place has a comfortable and unique charm. The wait staff is friendly and the patio out back is perfect for lunch outside! Will definitely be coming back!

Small out of the chain, fast-food restaurant way. A fun restaurant with the best comfort food you'll ever find. Go once and you will be a regular. Try it.

We had excellent oatmeal here and there was plenty of good options for food in an atmosphere of local neighborly ease. They did not have any soy milk, however.

Found this place while shopping for light fixtures Saturday and took a chance; it was a jewel. A breakfast and lunch place with large sandwiches. So we shared a reuben and it was one of the best I have ever had. And it was plenty to eat, along with the fries, which were okay. Only negative for us was the... More

We slept through breakfast at our hotel and were on our way to the Como Park Zoo....what a stroke of luck that our GPS brought us up Selby Ave, and our kids started to complain of hunger!! A very quaint place, food was tasty and it was the best cup of coffee I had over my 4 days in Minneapolis!... More

Very friendly service and plenty of choices in this neighborhood cafe. Great breakfast specials on the weekend. If you love hollandaise sauce and andouille sausage you will be happy here. The food came quickly and we were not disappointed. Not just your ordinary breakfast spot. Everything from cajun breakfast to bisquits and gravy. They also offer up a fair lunch... More
