Excellent choice for a good, reasonably price meal of "comfort food." Have had both breakfast and lunch here, both are excellent. Recently had lunch - meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes. Very tasty reasonable price. Friend had one of a number of egg combinations, also very good. Finished this with French silk pie, several steps up from, for example, Baker Square.... More

We eat here several times a year when visiting in the area. Appetizers are wonderful and unique. If you go for lunch, try the Club Sandwich. It is fabulous. Something so simple yet so good when done correctly. It always amazes me how hard it is to find a truly good sandwich given the abundance of sandwich places. This should... More

We ate breakfast here on a weekday late morning. I have no idea how busy it is on the weekends but at 10 am on a Wednesday there was no wait. Staff were friendly and I ordered the Cajun breakfast and my boyfriend ordered the Tex Mex. Both meals had huge portions and amazing flavor for their size. My meal... More

My husband and I have been going to this cafe for years. Every few months we visit and are always happy. The service is friendly and genuine. It can get pretty crowded, especially on the weekends. But I think it's worth it. Excellent pancakes :)

This is a very popular cafe, at least for Sunday brunch. Lots of happy eaters, mainly but not all of them youngish. My wife and I met a friend there. He's a long time local so his recommendation carried the day. He recommended Eggs Benedict so my wife ordered that. It was ok, probably a 3.5 on a 5 point... More

Went here with the boyfriend prior to a family gathering. He had an omelette and said it was the best he has had. I had the cornbread pancakes and they were delicious! Would totally go back.

While shopping in St Paul the Neighborhood Cafe is a great place to take a break and enjoy good eats at a reasonable price! You're only problem will be choosing what to order. It all sounded so good! So we ordered both breakfast and lunch. Lol Loved their potato bacon cheese soup and turkey avocado on marble rye! Their chocolate... More

When we went into the Neighborhood Cafe on trip one, we were overwhelmed with the hustle and bustle of the staff, the quantity and quality of the food, and also the fun that everyone seemed to have. So we went back to try something different and to try a different day and an evening meal (trip one was for lunch).... More

First time stopping at the neighborhood cafe- it is great find! From having a coffee in the tables out front, to the old school diner bar, this place has a comfortable and unique charm. The wait staff is friendly and the patio out back is perfect for lunch outside! Will definitely be coming back!
