There's always a wait for a reason. Plan on it! It's worth it. This is our favorite casual date spot. Great beer and awesome food. We both love the Jiffy Burger and cajun tots. The service is always friendly and prompt. (We like to go on a nicer day and go for a walk or grab a beer and relax... More

I went here with some girlfriends - when we meet, we only pick local, privately-owned places. We went to the location in St. Paul (there's a second one in Mpls). It was my first visit, so I was not familiar with some of the unique burger choices. I went for something a little more mainstream; my burger was great, and... More

My girlfriend was visiting from Scotland and I wanted to take her out for some local burgers and beer and I had heard good things about the Blue Door Pub. When we got there there were no seats but they said we could order at the bar so we ordered some beers and they asked for our id's. We're both... More

The Blue Door is only a couple block walk from my house, and I love having such a cool little pub nearby. That the burgers are great is an added bonus. The problem with Blue Door is that I hardly ever want to go because it's always so crowded and noisy in there. I met a colleague here for a... More

This place only has a few tables so go during off times or expect a long wait. Their burgers are huge and you can get them stuffed with just about any cheese you want. And add any toppings you want. Expect a food coma when you are done but worth splurging at least once.

After reading an article on Thrillist saying they were one of the top 21 spots to get wings in the U.S., we stopped at the Blue Door Pub on a Sunday at 4 p.m. The place is the size of a shoe box, so you will be super close to your neighbors and hear their every word, and they will... More

I travel quite a bit and make it a point to stop at local burger joints to see how they compare with what's back hom in dfw texas. I visited the St Paul location. It was quite cramped but I didn't have trouble getting a table at 9pm on a monday. More of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant. I... More

Often stop in when we are close. The Latin Kisses are fantastic and you have to try out the Blucy Challenge (with just 10 visits and 10 great Blucy's you earn a free Blucy and a Tshirt). BOM, AKA Blucy Of the Month are always worth ordering. Look out for later in the day or weekends as it will be... More

A great spot in the middle of a cool neighborhood. The food was great and the beer list was very solid too. It is a tiny place and it seems like there could be a wait often.

I had my daughter pick up a Bacon Blucy with onion rings on 10/16/14. The burger was raw in the middle and the cheese in the middle was not even hot. I was about 1 mile from the place so that would not have been the reason for it not being hot. The onion rings were dripping grease and the... More
