I am legitimately obsessed with the blue door pub. Their tater tots are unbeatable. Especially if you get them with sweet chili lime sauce. And their unique juicy Lucy's cannot be best. My favorite is the luau with grilled pineapple and more of that sweet chili lime sauce. Add on awesome and friendly servers and a great beer selection and... More

Burgers are flat out amazing with the cajun fries and dipping sauce. The Minneapolis location has a fantastic beer selection and one of the best happy hours in the twin cities. If you are a first timer it's worth the wait at the original St. Paul location just to get the whole experience. But to cut down on wait time,... More

I've been many times, most recently about two weeks ago. It is always busy, so you should put your name on the list and take a wander over to the antique stores nearby (or sit at the bar if there's a seat there). The burgers are very good. Honestly, I have never finished a burger there feeling like "wow, that... More

Probably one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. I got the Frenchy which was a burger version of a french dip. Wow! My son got the mushroom and swiss and he also liked it a lot but he said my was over the top. The St. Paul location is small with limited parking but if you are willing... More

I asked a random guy in MOA which restaurants in the area he recommended. His first answer was Blue Door Pub so I headed over to see what was so good about it. Definitely was a great decision taking his advice and eating at the dive. I ordered myself a Blucy at the bar (with tots!) and it was super... More

Best cheese curds EVER! The Thai burger was very unique and delicious. Best happy hour prices on beer (no liquor). Very small place - which is great, but I've heard there are long waits most of the time. We walked right in a little before 2:00 and had a late lunch but made happy hour. Win, win! This will be... We were in town from Florida visiting and my sister-in-law brought us here. The service was great, the eclectic bar food lunch menu had a lot of great choices, and the price was good. Great feel inside with the tall ceilings and retro look. We had the stuffed hamburgers and everyone at the table was raving about it. I had... More

Love the atmosphere (lots of wood paneling and chalkboards) and the food. Go if you love cheesy hamburgers and beer, and a great happy hour, don't go if you don't! The menu is limited, and their focus is on creative juicy Lucy's.

This place recommended by a long-time resident of the area was on our "bucket list." We made it on a Sunday afternoon. Timing was great as there was a booth next to the kitchen that was perfect for the 4 of us. The service and discussion about soccer was also nice. Went w as the World Cup is waiting for... More

They have every type of Juicy Lucy you can imagine but my favorite is the Cajun Bluesy. It is a cajun spiced burger with blue cheese in the center! Every burger I have tried has been good. They also have great tots and other apps too. I take every visitor I have to MN here. It is a must for... More
