I had my daughter pick up a Bacon Blucy with onion rings on 10/16/14. The burger was raw in the middle and the cheese in the middle was not even hot. I was about 1 mile from the place so that would not have been the reason for it not being hot. The onion rings were dripping grease and the... More

If you like burgers you will love BD. Great food, cosy place, best drinks and beer and one of the number one cider.

Decided on the Bangkok Blucy with a side of fried green beans. I was also told to try the Spam balls, so I did. They are much better than they sound. Diced Spam and picles covered in cream cheese covered in a crispy coating and deep fried to perfection. I was anticipating more Spam but the cream cheese is the... More

This the best burger I have had in a long while! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The onion rings are serious thick cut rings. Fried green berms were equally amazing.

This place has become the first stop every time I land in Minnesota. Use to go to the St. Paul location but now the Longfellow location is closer to where I stay. Came in for lunch all excited for some spam bites (yes they sound awful but I crave them throughout the year and recommend them to everyone). Thankfully the... More

I am legitimately obsessed with the blue door pub. Their tater tots are unbeatable. Especially if you get them with sweet chili lime sauce. And their unique juicy Lucy's cannot be best. My favorite is the luau with grilled pineapple and more of that sweet chili lime sauce. Add on awesome and friendly servers and a great beer selection and... More

Burgers are flat out amazing with the cajun fries and dipping sauce. The Minneapolis location has a fantastic beer selection and one of the best happy hours in the twin cities. If you are a first timer it's worth the wait at the original St. Paul location just to get the whole experience. But to cut down on wait time,... More

I've been many times, most recently about two weeks ago. It is always busy, so you should put your name on the list and take a wander over to the antique stores nearby (or sit at the bar if there's a seat there). The burgers are very good. Honestly, I have never finished a burger there feeling like "wow, that... More

Probably one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. I got the Frenchy which was a burger version of a french dip. Wow! My son got the mushroom and swiss and he also liked it a lot but he said my was over the top. The St. Paul location is small with limited parking but if you are willing... More
