My family and I have been eating dim sum in the Twin Cities area for the past 20 years, and in other cities before that. I have eaten dim sum in San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, and Philadelphia. Yangtze's dim sum has never been better - it is possible they have new chefs or new owners, not sure. My family and... More

We liked the vegetarian soup and the lo mein. Shrimp dishes were fine. The tofu was just OK, as were the egg rolls.

Absolutely mobbed for weekend lunches but, once you taste the offerings from the dim sum carts, you'll ignore the screaming kids. Most tables are reserved for large groups, so there's a fairly long wait for 2-4 people.

We enjoy the takeout. Its a pain to get to the restaurant. The old cooper theater at least had access from the west. Front desk is friendly and efficient. We like the sweet and sour soup. This is what keeps us coming back. Food is always hot and tasty.

Reasonably priced. Does have some items that stand out but like other places many items taste the same since they are steamed.

We have always enjoyed partaking in their dim-sum serving style. Tasty food. The quickest service you can imagine. We look forward to going here as often as possible.

We had been looking for a place for Dim Sum, and this was it! All the food selections were wonderful, and the staff were very attentive!

While staying at the nearby Springhill Suites hotel, I searched for a nearby restaurant. This one was within walking distance, but I drove, since it was winter. I ordered takeout from my room, fried dumplings and pork with garlic sauce. The meal was ready when I arrived 15 minutes later, and only cost $20. I was very pleasantly surprised both... More

I would return to Yangtze, although I wasn't terribly pleased with what I ordered. Based on the description, I expected there to be more vegetables and it was primarily all chicken and white rice.

This restaurant is very consistent. Very consistently good. We moved out of Minneap9olis 15 years ago. We went back to Yangtze recently. The food was phenomenal. Just as we remembered it. We started with egg rolls- great. We then split sesame chicken as great as ever, beef moo shu and mandarin shrimp. Every dish was as good as we remembered... More
