Description: Cooper brings European style to a warm, friendly pub with food that is a destination in itself. The menu includes hearty pub classics with and without twists, vegetarian and ethnic specialties, lighter dishes to satisfy wee cravings, and homemade soups and sauces. Our happy hour highlights a round-the-clock sense of value, with a diverse appetizer menu and loads of drink options. Our Wee Lunch, which includes salad, fries and wee sandwich or burger, is perfect if you normally don’t split or share items. We haven’t limited ourselves to traditional Irish fare – healthy choices abound which will satisfy your hard-working appetite any day of the week. The Pub Life is our heart. Relax with a newspaper and a 2 Gingers Whiskey, invite some friends for stimulating conversation over perfectly poured pints, or engage in some old-world-inspired friendly competition over a game of darts or billiards. Whichever you choose, come in. Make yourself at home. Stay a while.

Despite it being a crazy busy night and our unwieldy group being large and meandering, our server, Chelsea, was fantastic. She kept all the people/bills organized (even though there were 4 different Mike's!), kept food and drinks coming in a timely manner, and did her best to get last minute orders in before the end of happy hour. Our thanks... More

Great fish and chips: light, crisp batter. The Rachel sandwich and wild rice burger were, however, bland. Terrific service: prompt and friendly. Attractive atmosphere: curtains between pillars, although none of them were drawn. It was busy and noisy, but in a good way.

When the Cooper opened a few years ago, they offered a nice selection of full-flavored beers, an eclectic appetizer menu and free use of an ornate pool table in an overall elegant environment. Now, the pool table is gone as are the most flavorful beers. Unless you are a fan of Finnegan's or Brooklyn Brewing, you are better off at... More

Went to get a perfect Sunday Bloody Mary but it is not here. It was a watering spicy over-priced drink. A two-top doesn't get as much attention than a large 8-10 group. We got the "host" to take our order but had to return a couple times to get order correct. Miss information - the advertisement on table re: 2... More

Went there based on reviews. Busy for a Tuesday night but quickly got a seat at the bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner at the bar is not always a pleasure but this place takes good care of bar patrons. Upscale atmosphere.

We walked down the street to Cooper after taking in a Friday night movie at the theater nearby. There was no wait at all and we were seated at a very nice table near a window. The service was attentive but not intrusive, and the atmosphere and colors of the decor were all very pleasing. The draught beer choices were... More

I have been for dinner, and it have had groups for business. Great food and service. They have three rooms you can reserve, and all three are cool in their own way

Sunday night supper with my son and his gf after movie at the Icon. Just got back from a 2 week tour of UK this summer and I'm here to tell you, this was as fine a pie as in the UK. Great, hearty stew under piped mash. With a nice pint of Guinness. Service was excellent. Son's Mac and... More

I was visiting family in Minneapolis and wanted to celebrate our Irish heritage with an Irish meal and a Guinness! We decided to try Cooper's because it was the closest that was advertised as an Irish pub. It is a beautiful restaurant in a new neighborhood. It was a Friday early evening and the crowd was young career people. It... More

I travel on business to MN often and have been to Cooper a number of times. The atmosphere is great with a good bar or outdoor seating depending on the weather. The food is always good and the service is excellent. Try the meatloaf!!!
