Description: Cooper brings European style to a warm, friendly pub with food that is a destination in itself. The menu includes hearty pub classics with and without twists, vegetarian and ethnic specialties, lighter dishes to satisfy wee cravings, and homemade soups and sauces. Our happy hour highlights a round-the-clock sense of value, with a diverse appetizer menu and loads of drink options. Our Wee Lunch, which includes salad, fries and wee sandwich or burger, is perfect if you normally don’t split or share items. We haven’t limited ourselves to traditional Irish fare – healthy choices abound which will satisfy your hard-working appetite any day of the week. The Pub Life is our heart. Relax with a newspaper and a 2 Gingers Whiskey, invite some friends for stimulating conversation over perfectly poured pints, or engage in some old-world-inspired friendly competition over a game of darts or billiards. Whichever you choose, come in. Make yourself at home. Stay a while.

I was visiting family in Minneapolis and wanted to celebrate our Irish heritage with an Irish meal and a Guinness! We decided to try Cooper's because it was the closest that was advertised as an Irish pub. It is a beautiful restaurant in a new neighborhood. It was a Friday early evening and the crowd was young career people. It... More

I travel on business to MN often and have been to Cooper a number of times. The atmosphere is great with a good bar or outdoor seating depending on the weather. The food is always good and the service is excellent. Try the meatloaf!!!

This Irish themed restaurant is in a very trendy area. While the food was typical of the Irish/English type "pub" food, it was all tasty. The appetizers hit the spot and all the food at our table was decent. Drink and beer selection is fine. What really sets this place apart is the variety of seating choices. There are secluded... While in Minneapolis (which we loved) we stayed at the Doubletree Hilton which is right across the street from Cooper Pub, Cub Foods, Toby Keith's and others. The Vikings and Twins were both playing that day so tail gaiting was prevalent in our hotel parking lot. The Hotel is within walking distance of the restaurant and I am sure they... More

For starters I have to say the servers that took care of us were AMAZING!!!! AMAZING!!! They deserve a medal or a super fantastic prize of some sort!!! THEY WERE AWESOME! Let me back up...our groups was HUGE! Like 60 of us perhaps!? And these servers (like 2 or 3 at most) were left to get ALL of our drink... More

This place had a very unique style and decor to it, I loved it! The fish and chips were pretty good, and beer selection was nice. We actually visited in June 2013 but this review only let me do Sept. 2013. There was clearly a water problem, because the floors were soaked from the rain and our table was right... More

Went for brunch with friends before a Twins game. Not busy that time of day, but filled quickly as we sat there. This is a very large place with interesting decor. Service was excellent. Two-for-one bloody mary's were good and spicy. Had the corn beef hash breakfast and others had the walleye hash. Both were excellent and very large servings.... More

Right off the bat I was treated with great service and the staff was really knowledgeable about the menu. I asked what the special was and the bartender sold it to me without a second thought by his enthusiasm of the dish. It was the hanger steak. Apparently they have this feature a lot and it is very popular. I... More
