Newts Downtown

Went to downtown Newts (they have 3 locations now) for lunch with some coworkers. Newts is known for their many and unique burgers, with downtown being the first and oldest location. Free popcorn is abundant and offered by friendly staff. Normally burgers are pretty good, but on this occasion it... read more

Great food no matter what you order. Always hot and delicious!! Known for great burgers but also have great chicken. My kids love to go and get the free popcorn before our meal. The staff is friendly and food comes out fairly quick!

The Reuben sandwich has a lot of sauerkraut on it according to the menu: it came with none. Waiter took it back to the kitchen and when arrived was kind of "slippery"! Kitchen had slathered it with sour cream and there were 2 more contrainers of it on the plate. Complained but waiter saw the humor but didn't take it... More

We visited the New Newts south location in Rochester. Same amazing food and atmosphere! Marvin's Burger is the BEST!

Went on a Sunday with the fam for burgers. The wait staff is younger but very professional and attentive. Our waiter was good, he tried to remember all our orders mentally..he came back to double check an order haha. A+

I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad. I should have known what the quality would be when the cashier handed me a plastic container of dressing and a poker chip. He said to take the poker chip to the cook and he would prepare the salad. The cook took a container of lettuce out of the fridge and a chicken... More

This is one of my family's 'go-to' places for burgers. Love the Marvin's Burger! The onion rings are very good, although there is an upgrade charge to sub rings for fries. One of my favorite menu items is the fish and chips. Plenty to share!

Greasy, bland, if you want lettuce and tomato, extra. I asked for onions and they are soggy. Service OK, but servers just as soon chat with each other than to wait on customer.

I went here with my friend at a time where it wasn't too busy. The atmosphere is almost identical in each of their restaurants which I find to be nice, and unique because Newt's is a local restaurant- not a chain. I took my friend there for a Jucy Lucy since he is from the East Coast. He didn't seem... More
