Nice location close to Silver Lake. You can tell that this is where the locals eat. Good value and right sized portions. Food came out piping hot. We had tried this place at dinner once which wasn't as good. I think breakfast is the meal to go for.

Service here is good. Too bad the food isn't. I had the turkey and dressing dinner. Started with beef and vegetable soup, although I never actually found a piece of beef. Then came the plate chock full of...something. There were large chunks of a white substance which might have once been turkey, covering a thickened mass which could have been... More

I really like this place. Have been going here for breakfast about once a month for the past few years. It has a small-town feel to it. Good food, good price, and friendly waitresses, and great service.

Wonderful old fashioned diner with awesome food. Best fries in town, yes better than McD's. Best breakfast. Real link sausage, unlike most restaurants in Rochester that serve heat'n'serve sausage. Hashbrowns perfectly cooked, crispy outside, tender but not mushy inside. Pancakes and french toast out of this world. Chicken sandwich is to die for. Great specials. Never had anything I didn't... My wife son and I order dinner here during a visit to the Mayo Clinic. A great meat and potatoes place with fantastic "homemade" pies. Prices mostly all under $10 for plenty of food. Again, the hot roast beef or pork sandwich with mash potatoes were very good. Stay away from the Chinese dish if you enjoy real Chinese food.

Just when you want some old fashioned, just like Mom used to make food or plain old comfort food, head to Grandma's Kitchen. I've never been disappointed with anything here. Had the Hamburger Stroganoff last month and my husband had the hot beef sandwich and we are both craving those dishes again. Just good food. The atmosphere isn't great, but... More

This is not a fancy place. it's a great place to meet friends and family for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or an early dinner. Portions are generous, service is excellent, prices are very reasonable. Daily specials are an excellent value. No pretensions, no complaints.
