Good place to hang out and have a beer. Decent food, although I would no longer award Newt's with the distinction of best burger in Rochester. The atmosphere is fun and lively. Lacks the charm of Newt's downtown. The service is consistently good. The place always seems to be pack.

Great place. Great service. We really enjoyed the fresh popcorn! There were a variety of great burgers and sandwiches to choose from. The fries were great. My daughter's chicken strips were tasty too. We will be back.

Whether it's a Jucy Lucy or a Chipotle-mayo burger, I had an awesome meal. Despite being categorized as a sports bar, it was pleasant to sit down and have a great time. No blasting TVs or loud patrons, just an overall amazing burger served ultra-fast by super friendly folks.

My friend and I were part of the late lunch crowd so it was relaxed just what we were looking for. Good music playing too. Our waiter, Daniel, was fun, funny, accommodating, and willing to make suggestions. His suggestions were right on. He helped make the the meal enjoyable. I appreciate that in wait staff. We both ordered burgers I... More

Looked for a place to watch some NHL action while I was in town that was local. I found Newts and boy what great place. There was a nice mix of locals and regular business people. The menu was diverse and the food was fresh and good. They had great drink specials and Randy was a great server.

Very good beer selection and unrivaled burgers! The only downer to this place is the tiring 70's music....The staff is friendly and the service is top notch!

Found this place with Trip Advisor-- and so glad! I usually skip hamburger buns but these were like homemade...super fresh, light, great taste. Hamburgers were superb....and the onion rings were the best we've had in years. Brett was an exceptionally fast, cheerful waiter. We will be back, and highly recommend this place!!

The description on Newt's sign was dead on. I stopped on a Friday night around 8 and despite being busy, I was seated right away. They have a pretty good variety of beers on tap. The one I ordered arrived quickly and was nice and cold. I ordered the Jucy Lucy and a side salad and my food arrived quickly... More

Newt's offers a nice variety of burgers, but the selection seems more basic than gourmet. The price of $10.95 is a bit high for what you get. The burger also does not come with tomato or lettuce. It comes with a pickle spear rather than slices for the burger. Service was fair. I've had much better burger for the price.

Our first time at Newts' and it did not disappoint one bit. Service was great, food was excellent, and well priced for the amount you get! Onion Rings & Burgers were top notch! Fries were good, but not over the top. It was money wells spent and would not hesitate for a second to return!
