This place does all the standard southeast Asian dishes nicely. Very mild is to be expected in the heart of the Midwest. They are glad to make it very authentic if asked, but for a tasty dish that everyone will like look no further.

Pho Chau serves great food that starts with fresh, quality ingredients. The menu is huge and I've never found anything I don't like.

So many good things to say. We had the beef soup and had to come back the next day for more. Try the crushed ice desert, kind of like Filipino halo-halo. Owner is great, knows customers names and makes you feel really welcome. $6.50 meals, great value. Try the iced tea, it is a green tea, add lemon...light and refreshing.

I generally do not write reviews unless the service or the food was really bad or extremely good. I took some of my relatives to Pho Chau for dinner last night hoping to enjoy a nice meal together. The restaurant closes at 9:00 PM (on a Saturday night; Yes, I know that is just pathetic) and we were there at... More

Believe me the food is terrible, they only good enough to fool the white people. I am Vietnamese myself, and I know how the food should test like. I actually gave them two chances since they opened; grand opening and recently. Both times had proved to fail my expectation. But the people are supper nice and enthusiastic. I gave them... More

This was a great spot for a casual lunch. The first indicator of the authenticity of this Vietnamese diner is the number of local Vietnamese residents enjoying a Saturday brunch. I had the beef pho without shell fish or exotic meats for 7 dollars. It was delicious and hit the spot with the right balance of herbs and spices. Our... More

Always quick, affordable, and delicious. Very nice staff as well. Serving sizes are usually enough for 2 meals.

We ate at Pho Chau Friday at around 6pm. We also had the Vermicelli noodles with shrimp, beef and egg rolls and a separate order of egg rolls which alll tasted good. The ambiance is very basic. The service was excellent - the waitress was very attentive and checked on us frequently.

My wife and I came here for lunch. The place was bustling, which made it more interesting. The decor is pretty average, so you don't get much atmosphere overall. We both ordered the pho, which came in huge bowls. The broth was good, the beef tasted fresh and the noodles were cooked perfectly. We also ordered the spring rolls (which... More
