A local took me to zzest and it was great. I had the salmon cake's and she had a roasted beet salad. Both were amazing! Cute little restaurant with the gourmet shop attached. It was just after lunch time and was not too busy. Excellent service. Thanks!

even though we had reservations, we waited for our table, 15 minutes. Our server had no pad to write our drink orders on, said she'd probably forget our order & ask us again." Tee Hee". She indeed did come back & forgot. I ordered a Vodka 7. she came back to our table -"No 7up or Sprite..do you want ginger... More

My wife and I stopped for a quick bit after getting back form vacation. We sat outside and enjoyed the day and had a wonderful lunch. The service was great (Thanks Laura C.) and it was a very pleasant experience. We went an looked around the market and some real neat products inside.

I have been here on two occasions for lunch, and lets just say...it is different. I had the BBQ Brisket sandwich and my wife had the veggie panini. We ordered 2 diet soft drinks, which never came so it was kind of a downer. The lunch itself was actually very good, with ok portion sizes. The downfall was the fact... More

My wife and I stopped for a light lunch. We decided to order the cheese and charcuterie trays. They were very good. The cheese and meets selected were full of flavor and delicious. My only complaint is that for the money, the portions were rather small. Very good quality but slightly over priced.

Took the wife out on a date here and had a fantastic first time! Delicious food that was more culinary art in an amazing setting. Had a great first experience.

We had been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time. We had heard that it was locally sourced, which is important to us. We parked and read the hours on the doors which were quite unclear and confusing. The front of the restaurant is very uninviting from the outside, with what looks to be excessive books and inventory... More

During a recent trip to Rochester to visit family, we had dinner at Zzest. We had a wonderful experience. The service was very good. The appetizers were amazing. Such interesting and lovely combinations of flavors! Good wine selection. We enjoyed browsing the market after dinner. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the choice of entrees on the menu. Next time we... More

I am completely baffled as to why anyone would ever recommend this pretentious clip-joint. I have eaten here twice and both times were terribly disappointing, and extremely expensive. The first time I went with my wife and got their tasting menu. There were some unique ingredients used but they were not always prepared properly. For example, our seared scallop was... More

ZZest is by far, Rochester's best restaurant. The menu is always a exciting culinary experience. The staff is excellent and always point on with recommendations. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing. I love the patio dining in the summer! It's a great place to gather with friends for lunch, dinner, or happy hour.
