authentic Mexican

Don't bother with the meal plates, just get a variety of their tacos and dig in and you'll be very happy. And don't forget the tortilla chips with their burnt salsa - the best I've ever tasted!

We were there for late lunch and ordered taco salads with beef. the salads looked fresh, but the beef was cooked hours ago and was too hard. The salads came 3 minutes after we ordered. They were mixed prepared ingredients. It is OK @ rush hour, but is bad thing when certain meat stays hours before served. You pay when... More

We enjoyed a lunch here recently on their "patio". It's really just a converted trailer but it's done so nicely, you hardly notice. Food is always good- enchiladas, tacos, tamales, tortas, fajitas- and chips are unique and tasty. Service is friendly and always fast and good. It's a great value for a really good meal.

This is the best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in southern Minnesota. Great family atmosphere, variety of freshly prepared condiments. Wide selection of menu options. Family owned and run, delicious food and a reasonable price.

I used to be a regular here but the prices almost doubled and the quality of the food declined. The prices are just too high for so-so food served on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils.

The food is standard but it's the people that make this place. I've never had a bad service experience here and I don't think that'll change.

Stopped here for lunch with a friend. The man behind the counter was very friendly, and was more than willing to make suggestions of items he recommended form the menu. They have a LARGE salsa bar, offering between 6 - 8 different types. The re-fried beans were amazing! The food tasted fresh, not as if it had been sitting in... More

We were hungry for Mexican food and did not want the "usual fake take out type" so we decided to try this place. Luis was very friend, you place your order at the counter, pay and then sit down. The have a salsa bar with about 12 different types of salsa's to pick from. Yes, everything is served on throw... More

This restaurant was (as of a few weeks ago) the highest rated Mexican restaurant in Rochester, so we ate there one night during our last visit. The GOOD: Customer service was excellent. Not super crowded when we went. Clean The Not-so-Good: I personally didn't care for what I ordered, or what my daughter ordered. They don't have margaritas, only canned... More

We have visited here each time we come to Rochester and really enjoyed the food. But this time the prices had gone up significantly, the food was stale, not as authentic as in the past. Probably won't be back. Not worth sitdown prices when served small stale portions on paper plates with plastic silver ware.
