Very good food, great atmosphere

As another reviewer also wrote, not the best resturant run by this family but still very good. Very nice atmosphere and excellent service. My husband and I have had dinner here several times and I have always been happy. On my most recent visit I had the bavette steak and it was delicious.....cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I also loved the mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus that came with my meal. The drinks are good but definitely not cheap......around $7 for a glass... More

I had the privilege of dining at 300 First for a good friend's birthday party. We had a group of 12 women. The waiter was excellent; attentive without being overbearing. The menu choices for our group were all excellent; I had scallops that were fabulous. Others in my party had salmon, filet mignon and other meats and seafood dishes and... More

We travelled with co-workers to 300 First in a group of about 20 people. We had an area to ourselves and were started with a nice variety of tasty hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The fireplace near us created a cozy atmosphere. The servers were very attentive and prompt to replace drinks. Oh, speaking of drinks, the Cosmos and martinis were... More

I had the pleasure of eating at 300 First last weekend for an office gathering. There were about 20 in our group. I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews so was thrilled when the service was exceptional and the food was amazing. We have some pretty hard to please people in our group and everyone said... More

I came here on the advice of a colleague and was a bit skeptical after reading some less-than glowing reviews. I'm glad I did not heed them. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff friendly and helpul and the food .. oh, the food. We had duck tostadas and cornbread appetizers, cream of wild mushroom soupt, and I had... More

My husband and I went to 300 First for the third time on December 31st. For the third time they were out of prime rib. We generally are there and order before 7:30. We've always had some minor issues with the service here, but like to give a place a few trys before deciding to give up on a place.... More

The restaurant is not bad as far as the atmosphere. And food is high price and is overcooked, burnt and small portions. I am planning on not going back there again

The food is good, but the prices are high, too. The interior is gorgeous. The service is excellent. They have a happy hour with some very interesting food choices. Just about everything is ala carte. But parking is an issue for us tourists. There is a parking lot with about 30 spots but it also services another of their restaurants... More

Building is an old warehouse that has been converted, making architecture interesting. Menu includes interesting and eclectic selections. Food was great, as was the service! Mid priced - most entrees$15-$24. Clientel spans casual to formal. Fun evening!
