When I saw the Bavette steak, listed on the menu as a unique cut if local beef, I had to give it a try. It was hands down in the top five steaks I ever have had at a restaurant. Every side dish, from their signature creamed corn to the mashed potatoes, was delicious. The complimentary bread was... read more

We enjoyed 300 First one night with another couple. The waitress was very personable and helpful in determining food and drink choices. They made a delicious Mojito and the Prime Rib was well cooked and reasonably priced. The Asparagus was also terrific! Will definitely return to try something different!

The atmosphere is not formal. There are wood booths and a lively atmosphere. The food was hearty and flavorful. This is a better than average restaurant with a pleasant dining experience. The wait staff was friendly and competent.

A wonderful place for dinner. Try the beef Wellington for a delicious take on a steak. The salmon also is excellent. It's just a couple blocks from the downtown hotels, and the walk will be worth it!

Started our dinner with a small lobster tail breaded and deepfried. It was delicious. I followed up with a fish special...that night it was pistachio crusted swordfish in a lovely lemongrass coconut sauce. The fish was perched on a slice of fresh pineapple, and a topping of julliened sweetpotatoes finished off the dish. Such a lovely mix of flavors and... More

Girlfriend ordered a beef Wellington medium well. Came out rare, sent it back and gave her a salad while she waited. Came out again and was same thing. Bloody and rare. They comped our meal and gave us dessert to go. Took that home, and had mold spots on it!! I'll never eat here again:

We treated a group of friends to dinner here recently. The quality of the food and drink was reasonable, but dishonest practices left us with a very bad taste. When our waitress took everyone's entree order she smoothly asked "soup or salad?" with a tone to imply that these were included with the meal. Surprised to see additional charges I... More

It is hard to fathom why this is not rated the best restaurant in Rochester, MN. First and foremost, the wait staff, the bar staff and the kitchen staff are attentive and fun. The ambience and mood of the place is both fun and romantic. And, the bar serves liberal drinks while one waits for absolutely delicious and moderately priced... More

I went as part of a large group including customers. We had pre-booked but ended up being split across a number of tables in one area of the restaurant which seemed a bit strange and created a feeling of exclusion. Anyway, service was fast and friendly, drinks were quickly served and all seemed well. Appetizers are mostly all deep-fried and... More
