a pleasant evening

We like 300 First with its exposed brick walls, high beamed ceilings and cozy booths. It is a good place for a romantic evening or a larger gathering of friends. But be warned, if you are seated at a table, quiet conversation can be difficult on a weekend evening, as it can be a bit noisy, so ask... read more

We had a group of 15 that met for dinner at 300. Out waitress was extremely attentive and had drinks and appetizers out very quickly. The steak bites, ravioli and onion rings were all delicious. All the dinners we ordered were tasty and the steaks were cooked spot on. When I asked if anyone could think of something that didn't... More

Thursday night. Not crowded. Immediately seated by hostess. Then 5, 10, 15, 18 minutes. Hostess brings water to table. We wait 2 more minutes…why. We leave. Too many choices in RST to have been neglected. Won't return.

This restaurant is expensive, but worth it. I hate creamed corn and beets, except for the way their chef prepares it! It is a beautiful building.

300 Fisrt is a must for those who love great service, and outstanding food. In particular, their grilled Steelhead trout is to die for; with any of their steak offerings a close second. And, should you have to wait for your table, an honest cocktail awaits your pleasure. Although removed from the Mayo Clinic compound, the short walk or drive... More

My wife and I have lived in the area for 32 years and had never eaten at 300. We went for our wedding anniversary and were more than impressed with the food and the service. I had the prime rib and it was amazing. It is served with a side horseradish sauce that it equally good. The meat was cooked... More
