This restaurant is a bit pricey overall, but absolutely excellent food. It is known for their fresh fish primarily, which is brought in daily. The menu is largely sea-food driven, although other red meat and vegetarian options also exist. We had the spicy calamari (very unusually prepared but super) and the tuna (fresh fish selection) and halibut as entrees, with... More

Bread is amazing! lobster mac and cheese is amazing! And I never loved Brussels sprouts until I had them here. No other lobster bisque has been able to come close to comparing to theirs. Staff and atmosphere is great. It's located in the Doubletree hotel. I stayed at the Doubletree frequently and went to Pescara's for convenience the first time.... More

Fresh seafood flown in daily is always my favorite. The halibut was excellent. Mussels were great. The waiter had a great sense of humor. We felt very comfortable being casual in the upscale atmosphere. I will definitely visit that restaurant again if I'm in the area.

The atmosphere is upscale and the food is excellent. The fish tacos are the BEST in town. It's located right downtown in the Doubletree and accessible by Skyway.

Showed up with no reservation on a Monday night and was promptly shown to the last table available (not including bar seating). Staff and manager were friendly and attentive. I had one west coast oyster on the half shell, one of the best oysters I've ever had. Then proceeded with the walleye. It was absolutely delicious. Ordered a side of... More

We went to this place twice during our 2 week stay in Rochester. It came highly recommended by the locals and the online reviews were good too so we had to check it out. The Sunday Brunch is like $17 which makes it a steal based on the quality of the food. We went for lunch as well - I... More

First of all, our server Chris was just outstanding! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and confident with his recommendations. My husband and I found them spot on. I don't even know where to begin with the food! Husband loved his lobster bisque and his main course of ciopino was so fresh and amazing that he couldn't stop soon... More

Four of us had an outstanding meal July 17th. Darren was our server - very fun, knowledgeable and attentive. The MOD was seen many times doing table touches. We had the caesar salads, Crab Louis, calamari, walleye and scallop dish. The standout was the scallops. Very rich and great sauce. The bread was spot on and a great way to... More

So having had a couple good lunches at Pescara in the past, we tried dinner this trip. Had a beautiful chunk of halibut in a lovely lemon buerre sauce. It came with bread, but we needed to order salad and vegetables ala carte. The fish was just a tad overcooked, but the sauce made up for it. A mojito before... More

Surly porter, shrimp fra diablo over wild rice with a salad was very good. Fruits of the sea with pancetta was very good. Brussels sprouts were excellent. Dined here two evenings. Service and staff were excellent.
