We stopped by there on 11-19 at 5:30 after a stressful day at Mayo. We asked for a table for two and the hostess was very condescending as she informed us there were not any tables available until 7:00 for two people. She was rude and actually made my wife start to cry. We were dressed professional and are clean... More

I highly recommend the fish tacos for lunch. Excellent lunch, with great service and very good bread. The taco's are $9, and very much worth it.

A visit to Mayo Clinic in Rochester can be a trying experience, like all the restaurants in the city Pescara is abundant with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. What sets Pescara apart is its wide selection of fresh seafood prepared in a variety of ways. I strongly recommend reservations. We didn't have one so we sat in the community table... More

Pescara is one of Rochester's best dining experiences. Food, atmosphere, and service are top notch. The chef, manager, sommelier, and wait staff are the best in town. The fresh seafood is always just that....fresh. And, you are given multiple choices on how you want it prepared.

Good seafood in the Midwest can be a problem, but Pescara is about a good as it gets this far from the ocean. On the ground floor of a Doubletree hotel, you might hesitate, hotel restaurants generally not so very good. Rochester, however, is upping its game, becoming a bit more cosmopolitan. Thank you, Mayo! My fish was very fresh,... More

I love their fish tacos and other "$10" lunch specials, not sure why I was charged the extra $3. I had the crab slider with lobster bisque. Well prepared except that the flavors were slightly off, not the seasoning or preparation, most likely the seafood itself.

Went here twice and highly recommend this place for seafood. Excellent waiting staff, surprisingly good oysters, I recommend ordering oysters and mussels with no hesitation. Not too much items on the menu so don't have to waste time scanning for options (a good thing). Pricey for the Rochester area but worth the seafood.

We visited Pescara in August when we were in Rochester and loved it so much we had to go back last week when we were in the city again. We had the same waitress - Rebecca - both times and she was phenomenal! She knew the menu well and was able to make recommendations as to sauces and sides to... More

Dined here again and commented to my guest that I have a difficult time paying for a dinner I am capable of preparing at home. That being said, dropping a couple of hundred for us two to be waited on in what should be an impeccable restaurant while 'not' preparing my food is something to look forward to. I'd be... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your detailed review. I am sorry that your meal and our service did not meet your expectations.
