First of all, our server Chris was just outstanding! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and confident with his recommendations. My husband and I found them spot on. I don't even know where to begin with the food! Husband loved his lobster bisque and his main course of ciopino was so fresh and amazing that he couldn't stop soon... More

Four of us had an outstanding meal July 17th. Darren was our server - very fun, knowledgeable and attentive. The MOD was seen many times doing table touches. We had the caesar salads, Crab Louis, calamari, walleye and scallop dish. The standout was the scallops. Very rich and great sauce. The bread was spot on and a great way to... More

So having had a couple good lunches at Pescara in the past, we tried dinner this trip. Had a beautiful chunk of halibut in a lovely lemon buerre sauce. It came with bread, but we needed to order salad and vegetables ala carte. The fish was just a tad overcooked, but the sauce made up for it. A mojito before... More

Surly porter, shrimp fra diablo over wild rice with a salad was very good. Fruits of the sea with pancetta was very good. Brussels sprouts were excellent. Dined here two evenings. Service and staff were excellent.

I've been to Pescara for dinner, and it was very good, but when I had brunch there recently, I just had to write a review! The buffet is quality rather than quantity with quiche, shrimp pasta, gouda home fries, even lobster bisque, but I really loved the items you can order from the kitchen, which are perfect portions. We tried... More

We have eaten here both for lunch and dinner and the service and quality of the food was exceptional. The only complaint would be that the dinner service was nearly $200 and we each only had a glass of wine. For special occasions, though it is probably worth it.

Rochester, MN is often thought of for one thing - the Mayo Clinic. And while it may be the sight of one of the best medical centers in the world, doctors, nurses and support staff have to eat. Pescara is the place that is referred to over and over again as the best spot in town, and I have to... More

We visited Rochester three times over a six week period and have experienced all of the restaurants. Pescara is the best, not just in terms of food but even more in terms of attentive service. I've had fish tacos, shrimp tacos, lobster bisque, and the great Crab Louie salad. We'll be back on our next visit!

Excellent service, ambiance and food. Go for the fish, enjoy the fish. Good wines. Great place for conversation. Reasonable priced. Best Rochester, MN has to offer for fish.

Pescara features fresh seafood, and in my experience it is truly superb. In general, the options for preparation are aimed to please a wide variety of palates. If you are ready to pay the high prices, you will most likely have a fine meal. Service is OK, but not great. I have gone about six times for dinner, never for... More
