Great food, good ambiance a five star restaurant

My wife and I treated a newly married couple to dinner at Pescara. My wife is a vegetarian trying to find some good food to eat in a restaurant specializing in fish! No problem, the waiter rose to the occasion and suggested a vegetable combo that my wife found delicious. We ordered a bottle of... read more

I tried a number of things on the menu. Preparation and taste of food was good but prices are over the top. A salad can run $14. A walleye sandwich was just about the same price and serving size is average. It is a very busy restaurant and if you are not wanting room service, you may not get in... More

They have a very affordable menu at lunch and weekends. $10 menu is great. Also love their Mouth watering Humus and their flat bread. You have to try it.

My favorite place to eat in Rochester!! They explained the menu & we followed our server's recommendations on how to have our food prepared & we're NOT disappointed! I've had halibut (best), swordfish, Chilean seabass, & salmon...all were brilliantly prepared!! Don't miss the smoked gouda hashbrowns! Plus, they are close to Mayo!! Pescara is how I treat myself after tons... More

We had the mussels, tuna sandwich, shrimp tacos, lobster bisque and walleye sandwich. They were all quite excellent and the service was very good too. Prices were reasonable for lunch. Portions were good sized as we even had leftovers. I recommend this place even though I'm usually not fond of restaurants in hotels as they have not always been great... More

The service was excellent. The servers as well as the people replenishing the buffet were excellent. The oatmeal pancakes and gouda hashbrowns were great. We enjoyed the large selection of fresh juice options. The french toast was ok, a bit hard. The specialty egg of the day was scrambled eggs with a white cheese and green beans. I originally thought... More

This restaurant is very fine. It is pricey. It has great service and ambiance. It is where we bring guests if we want to impress them. Now you need to know food to order here. You see, you choose the meat, the way it is cooked and the sauce it has on it. So if you are the kind of... More

My daughter and I came to the mayo clinic and this restaurant was recommended to us. It is well located, has a lovely urban sophistication and outstanding food. We each had a different fish entree and both were delicious.

My Co workers and I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel where Pescara is. They catered the conference we attended but we also ate dinner there one night. The food was amazing. The Bang Bang Calamari was unlike any I've had and the Halibut in a Fonde Blanc sauce wad heavenly. The hotel special wine Drylands was perfect.

While passing through we use TA for recommendations. We were staying downtown, and Pescara is in the Doubletree, connected by the walkway system. The wine list is good by the glass or bottle, and the steaks were prepared perfectly. It was a bit on the pricy side, but worth the price. I typically try other places when traveling just for...
