I have in the past highly praised Nonna Rosa's for their food, and suggested many of my friends to patron the restaurant. Tonight I was disappointed on many fronts. Let me preface it was not busy, the kitchen was not slammed by orders, it was a quiet midweek night. I ordered a glass of Canaleto Pino Grigio, very nice, crisp,... More

We had lunch with friends at Nonna. Very adequate portions and a varied menu. I had the Tortellini with Rosa sauce. The Italian sausage was delicious. My husband had the Cannelloni Al Forno and enjoyed it's meaty flavor with a touch of lamb. We felt service was a bit slow but there were only two servers. If you don't like... More

For dinner on the patio during the Summer in Robbinsdale, they can not be beat. Their salads are fresh and light and the selection of pastas and Italian dishes are authentic. Many times I have been there and I go back frequently. Friendly staff and always willing to help.

I have been to this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. I have tried several different menu items and they are all good. This is one of the very few restaurants that actually offers anchovies with their Ceasar Salad instead of just mashed up in the dressing. Their Happy Hour... More

I haven't always had the best meal or service here but after a year I decided to stop in and try it again. It was a whole new sceen. The mussels are to die for and a must have and the ladies behind the bar were on top of topping off my wine glass. I look forward to my next... More

Really very good Italian at quite reasonable prices in a pleasant atmosphere. Not Bon Apetit "Great" but also doesn't have the affected pretensions that you have to put up with to eat Travail's divine creations. Always enjoy Nonna Rosa's and don't hesitate recommending it wholeheartedly.

Went here on a Monday night - half priced bottles of wine a bonus! Restaurant was under staffed so service was a bit slow but friendly. I ordered the gnocchi vesuviani, which is gnocchi with a tomato sauce and topped with goat cheese. It was amazing! Tons of flavor and a good amount of sauce. The house salad that came... More

This is normally one of our favorite places, but this was a bad experience. When we called ahead for a reservation, we made sure to ask for a quiet table as this was a special occasion with our Son and Daughter in law. When we arrived they only had a table in the middle of the crowded dining room. The... More

I ordered a mixed seafood Risotto and it was very good. The dish had scallops, mussels, and calamari. Overall I was impressed.
