Visited Smokin' Oak in Red Wing for the first time this past Sunday. I tried the gyro...it was very good. Some others in my party got the chicken alfredo and said it was very good. The chicken wild rice soup looked very good too. Nice selection of food options. I expected the interior of the restaurant to be in better... More

The steak was excellent, the service was good and the prices were reasonable. Well worth a try. I have paid a lot for steaks in well known chop houses that were inferior to Smokin Oak.

This place was recommended by my hotel and it was good! The smoky smell is amazing and they also have some local beers on tap. I had the chicken nachos which were good and my friend had the spicy tacos which were good but definitely spicy!

Had a steak that was cooked to exactly my tastes. Veggies were crisp and tasted fresh. The staff was very pleasant and available. And the smell of the wood burning in the rotisserie made for a nice experience. Good prices! I would eat there again!

At a typical restaurant when you have a bad experience enough to complain to a manager you expect the appropriate response to be "I'm sorry you didn't like your experience what can I do to make it better?" At the very least this is expected customer service in this industry. Not from this place! You have a complaint you best... More

Every time I go to The Smoking Oak, I'm impressed by how hard the staff are working and how friendly, in a non-annoying way, they are. I also really like the chicken and the bull bites. It's often busy so you might have to wait for a table but it will be worth it.

This restaurant specializes in rotisserie cooking. As you enter, you will see a huge rotisserie behind glass with lots of chicken and meats roasting. The odor is wonderful. I had a BBQ burrito which comes with either pulled pork or chicken, rice, beans, and avocado. It was very tasty as well as filling.
