After browsing the menu online I called in an order to carry-out. I ordered 2 sandwiches for $9.99 and $10.99 ea. When I stopped in to pick-up my food the hostess gave me a total of $28 and change, I asked what is the cost of the sandwiches, $12.95 and $13.95 she told me. I told her the menu on-line... More

Reservations a must. Dined here after an afternoon touring the area. I swear the shared hotel parking lot is mostly Smokin' Oak customers. There's a wood grill as you enter, so watch that 80's hair! Had the bacon wrapped fillet (21.99 as of this writing) grilled to absolute perfection. Nothing fancy, wear your jeans.

We stopped for lunch and enjoyed both the smoked chicken and the pulled pork. It was so good that I came back later in the evening and tried their rubbed ribs which were also very good. I'll stop her again on my next visit to Red Wing.

We had reservations on a Sat. night for 12. Arrived a bit early. Table all ready. Friendly, efficient wait staff. Lots of separate checks, she did well with it all. A couple of people moved to a different place and she got their food delivered correctly. Food wasn't outstanding, have had better ribs but it was good. Everyone seemed to... More

Stopped on a Sunday evening around 7PM. Seated at the only available table. We visit Red Wing at least 3 times a year. The wait person was literally running around, and sweating probably due to the heat in the restaurant from the rotissiere. No air conditioning? We wanted to order pizza from the menu. Told no one was there to... More

When we walked into the restaurant you could see the chicken cooking and the smell made your mouth water. The service was excellent and the owner was stopping by everyone's table to see how the food was. The portions were very large and the taste was pretty good.

The restaurant is located next to the Country Inn & Suites, so I ate there twice. I had a steak once and a chicken dish recommended to me by my server once. Both were delicious. I wasn't sure about the chicken dish (it was some kind of signature dish--mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuit, and chicken?) but when I ask a server... More

We came to Red Wing on the start of a motorcycle trip. We asked locals where they'd recommend for dinner being that we had found ourselves in a hurricane. The SMOKIN oak was the answer....horrible. It should be called the chokin oak. Brisket was like taffy, but more chewy and less flavor. Baked beans...awful. The steak salad was even horrible.... More

We were in Red Wing just yesterday and decided to try this place out despite some reviews to the negative side, and found these reviews could not be more wrong. The aroma coming in the door was great, service was superb and the food nothing short of fantastic. I had the Memphis style pulled pork, and it was simply the... More

Came up to visit family and stopped by this place. The cheese curds were very good. Also liked the fact I could get beef stroganoff here, which is very hard to find in my neck of the woods. The brisket was also excellent. Overall a pretty good experience.
