Okay, but that's about it

Otherwise, their donuts & pastries are about on par (if a bit pricier!) with what you can get anywhere else, which is a bit disappointing for what's supposed to be a specialty shop.

We walked in to buy a cup of coffee to go, then smelled the freshly baked goods. I bought a coffer and a loaf of English Muffin Bread. Took it home and made toast and sunny-side-up eggs, yum

Stopped by for a snack - I mean who could walk by smelling those Quality Baked goods. Incredible large selection of tasty morsels to select from and exceptional service to boot. I also saw tray after tray of bread moving from the bakery to the local restaurants which is always a good sign. Great place for a snack.

I grew up in Northfield, so the Quality bakery was a staple of my childhood. From birthday cakes to Christmas cookies to cake donuts - the Quality Bakery was always the go-to for sweets. And there's something great about the fact that this hasn't changed -- the display windows still have the same arrangements of cowboy boot cookies during Jesse... More

We stopped in here for kloche's they did not have any so we bought some bread. It is only 10:30 am on a Saturday and they were out of one's already ( it was Jesse James Days) . The attitude of the staff was no pleasant. No need to go back.

Seriously. I had a cake donut craving last month and it was too late for a donut elsewhere in town. So I mustered up the courage to go into the crappy run-down QB again. Here was something new: I was surprised at how expensive the donuts were. It's cheaper to get a donut at blue monday coffee shop. Alas, here... More

If you like fresh, melt-in-your-mouth donuts, come first thing in the morning to this bakery. They have the best donuts I have ever had. Not a ton of varieties, but that is OK with me. Keep doing what you do well. Their house coffee is drinkable with free refills, but I go for the specialty dark roast which costs a... More

We stopped in for breakfast and found the food to be good and the staff and clientele to be friendly and out going. We did not experience any of the attitude others have commented on. We would return.

I've been here a few times, and each and every time we ho, the guy looks like he's pissed at us for craving a doughnut. The doughnuts aren't any better than the gas station's, so really, it's me who should be angry.

"Quality" does not describe their customer service. I'm not the only resident of Northfield who has gone in and vowed never to return because of their disdain for customers. I was chewed out for requesting two creamers with my coffee ("most people only need one"). If you're in the mood for something sweet, go elsewhere (Cakewalk, Blue Monday, Bittersweet, etc.).
