Seriously. I had a cake donut craving last month and it was too late for a donut elsewhere in town. So I mustered up the courage to go into the crappy run-down QB again. Here was something new: I was surprised at how expensive the donuts were. It's cheaper to get a donut at blue monday coffee shop. Alas, here... More

If you like fresh, melt-in-your-mouth donuts, come first thing in the morning to this bakery. They have the best donuts I have ever had. Not a ton of varieties, but that is OK with me. Keep doing what you do well. Their house coffee is drinkable with free refills, but I go for the specialty dark roast which costs a... More

We stopped in for breakfast and found the food to be good and the staff and clientele to be friendly and out going. We did not experience any of the attitude others have commented on. We would return.

I've been here a few times, and each and every time we ho, the guy looks like he's pissed at us for craving a doughnut. The doughnuts aren't any better than the gas station's, so really, it's me who should be angry.

"Quality" does not describe their customer service. I'm not the only resident of Northfield who has gone in and vowed never to return because of their disdain for customers. I was chewed out for requesting two creamers with my coffee ("most people only need one"). If you're in the mood for something sweet, go elsewhere (Cakewalk, Blue Monday, Bittersweet, etc.).

I really like their cinnamon rolls, so do pop in to buy them occasionally, but whoever serves you is always surly/grumpy, without fail. I have bought cookies there that were flavored cardboard as well, but the rolls are worth the sneer.

One of the nicest men in Northfield is tucked away in the kitchen at Quality Bakery, making first-rate baked goods. He comes out front once in awhile, in flour-covered baker's whites, to refill his coffee cup and greet customers. I love his creations at QB so much that I've learned to put up with the weird customer service. I think... More

Was in town on work and stopped for a couple bakery treats and they looked wonderful. Order up an Apple Fritter with Raisins and a Danish with Cream Cheese total cost $ 3.05. On so delicious the Apple Friter was full of raisins super and my gosh was a treat having a real Danish. SUPER!

I feel bad calling this an average or very good bakery. I'd love to say it's excellent. Because the service is so above average, it's amazing! As a long distance mom of a Carleton student, I wanted to send our son a cake or cupcakes for his birthday each year. Here's the amazing part: I would call Quality Bakery, order... More

We loved the Bakery - we bought fruitcake which was just delicious. We took it to the Cannon River Winery and had it with a glass of wine. The scones and cranberry pecan crimp bread were the best.
