Good food for the price

While Tacoasis is a pretty small place, it's well worth it to stop in and grab a bunch of tacos and nachos. It's cheap, but the food tastes much better than what you're paying for.

Located in a very small building next to George's, Tacoasis has been around for quite a bit longer than they should be. I'm convinced this place only exists because people don't know Northfield also has Taco Bell and El Tequila's. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this one.

Can't believe such awesome food comes from a very small establishment! Definitely beats the typical Mexican chains!

Tacoasis is fast (they have drive-through), friendly, and they have the BEST food…and they’re reasonable! Where else can you get tators that are seasoned that tasty!? In the Summer you can sit out back at a picnic table and enjoy your food in the sunshine.

The Tacoasis is one of the best Taco shops! I've been coming for over 10 years & it never lets me down. Even in below zero temps. it always hits the spot. The portions are good size for the cost. The Deluxe taco, chimichanga dinner, taco burger, their apple dessert. I haven't come across a bad item on their menu... More

We really enjoyed this quick and inexpensive meal. We were staying at a hotel in town and our son-in-law said he had a great place for a quick meal so he went and picked up tacos for all.

We stopped in at Tacoasis for dinner on a beautiful spring day. We split nachos, a chimichanga dinner, and their apple dessert. The nachos weren't anything special but the chimichanga and apple dessert were fantastic! We are looking forward to visiting Northfield again just to stop at Tacoasis :-)

The look of Tacoasis may scare you off, but have no fear! It is way better than taco bell and pretty cheap too! Sadly they do not accept checks or credit cards so make sure to have cash with you! I recommend the fiesta salad, tators, and a pink lemonade!

The food is decent and the prices are good. Nothing fancy, and unlike taco bell(meat is mostly filler and not meat at all!) the ingredients look fresh and the meat looks like its all meat. If you want Mexican fast, this place is ok. If you have a little time, definitely go to el taquila about 100 yards away.

We're new to town and heard about the Tacoasis Special. Excellent! Just make sure you bring cash.
