Nice employees, great food and atmosphere OK.

The food has always been great, the wait staff usually excellent. We wonder why you do not have toast with breakfast. So that is separate???? Never saw that before, however, the breakfast is a good deal. Love the Cowboy Chicken sandwich.

When traveling, it is good practice to ask where the "locals" go. As for Cowboy's, it is the place where locals go. (I am one.) Went there tonight to have my favorite fish sandwich. Delicious as usual. Enjoyed a pint of Gull Dam Scotch Ale, which is a local beer from Gull Dam Brewing that Cowboy's has on tap. Goes... More

We had lunch here twice. They offered basket food which we had at the bar. A dinning room and outside seating is also available.

We stopped after a wine tasting at another location and enjoyed a good burger and beer meal. Service was good and the burgers were nicely done. We will go back.

It was a Friday night. The place was busy. That is no excuse for crummy food. I ordered the steak sandwich. The server asked me how I wanted the steak done. I said medium rare. Little did I know that the steak was probably cooked yesterday, and hardly medium rare. It was a joke to ask me how I wanted... More

You think a bar named Cowboys would have pretty lousy food and cheap drinks. NOT so! We had really great hor'd, some pretty fabulous wines and a really fun and attentive waitress. Not bad for a 'country' stop a little off the lake in Nisswa!

Nice outdoor patio, good food with a good value. The service was ok a big group of people could fill the bar or the patio up so you might have to wait. worth the wait though.

When we arrived, there was a severely intoxicated man laying on the bench outside the front door of the restaurant. This was not a good first impression. We each had a burger and fries which were average tasting. While many tables were empty, they hadn't been cleared yet from previous diners. Our server did her best to clear tables in... More

We chose Cowboy's for our last supper meal while staying at Causeway on Gull for a winter vacation. The location was perfect and the bar was clean and cozy with a very appealing store front decor. The food was very good and inexpensive. We were a group of 4 and were well-cared for. We all tried the fish fingers which... More

Our large family did Cowboys last weekend, and I was impressed with the quality of food and great prices. While the place is small, the were ver accommodating. I had eaten here when it was Maddie's, but I appreciated how thy lightened the place up inside. If I could change one thing, it would be to have more outside seating.
