It was a Monday night and we were on our way to Minneapolis. We fancied a stop in New Ulm and some German Food. This restaurant has a fun booth juke box, good food, good service and if you stick to the German bar specialities it is very pleasant. The waitress was overstretched and I can understand some of the... More

It was an alright resturant. Not quite the German resturant we expected. The food was good and the atmosphere was very nice. The staff very friendly and courteous.

The food was average at best, the Wiener schnitzel was very greasy the spatsel was cold . We had to flag our waitress down every time we needed her she had maybe 3 tables yet she didn't have time to stop and talk to us or ask us how are food was? All I know is I would not impose... More

This was our second time visiting. Food was even better if that was possible. I loved the potato salad. Wish we could have room for dessert. The staff is very friendly and really good about the history and knowledge of the town recommending sites to see.

Well worth a visit. Sauerkraut was excellent as were all the sausages. The German potato salad was too vinegary for my taste, but my husband liked it. Service is good and friendly. I would definitely go back.

So we went on a month long trip that took us to my in-laws who live in New Ulm, Minnesota. I've eaten at the Kaiserhoff numerous times, but that was before the whole Celiac thing. Well I had planned to order the German Sampler, which is awesome but our waitress told me that there might be some gluten in some... More

Since my husband is German, I suggested that we eat at this restaurant that was listed in the New Ulm Visitor Guide that we picked up at the Minnesota Welcome Center on our way north. He had the Kaiserhoff German Sampler which had BBq Ribs, german potato salad, red cabbage, bratwurst, landjaeger and sauerkraut. He said it was Excellent! I... More

We have gone several times. The owner that was in his elderly years passed about a year ago. He started working there as a child. He was so friendly. Made you feel right at home. Great atmosphere and service. Delicious German food. Probably the best German food I have ever eaten. Check out the pictures of celebrities that have eaten... More

We are visiting New Ulm for business. We had dinner at this establishment. Even though it was a quiet evening, we were seated at a private section. The service was quick and friendly. Appetizer ordered was good: sauerkraut balls, onion rings and fried green beans. The ribs were tender and juicy. The spaetzle could be better; it was mushy. The... More

A large variety of different foods including German Cuisine. Came in with a group of 9. Was seated right away and had a very pleasant waitress. Very accommodating. The prime rib was served cold, was returned and came back lukewarm. The schnitzel ala Holstein was just ok. Spaetzle was cold. Heard good reviews about this place, but was disappointed. Food... More
