I love this place!

My most favorite restaurant in the whole world (of the parts I've been to...). Great food, great service, great price. Consequently, their chicken tikka masala is probably my most favorite food in the world as well. So good.

Food was delicious, service prompt and courteous, furnishings clean and simple. Just a great dining experience for not a lot of cash.

Happen to be in the area n stopped in because of the good reviews. Buffet was simple but everything was fresh and delicious. The mint sauce is a must try! Fourth of July long weekend and I want to eat something delicious and preferably Indian. Hubby suggests Himalayan Restaurant and considering I love Indian food prepared by Nepali Chefs in India and Kathmandu Bistro in South Dakota, I decided to give it a shot! Honestly, the buffet options seemed super limited. Being a vegetarian, there were no starters for us.... More

The Himalayan Restaurant has a new location in Minneapolis -- lots more room, so you don't have to sit in your neighbor's lap or wait a long time for seating -- and the food is just as wonderful. It's one of our favorites to visit when we're in the Twin Cities.

We have loved this restaurant for years, even when it was a hole in the wall at another location. But the new site is a cheery building with wonderful decorations. The food is tasty as always. We usually go to the lunch buffet, but we recently went for an evening meal and ordered off the menu. It was FABULOUS. My... More

This is a great place to experience Nepali food. I was there last year. They've moved to a bigger property since then. I was there last week. They need more staff to serve their yummy food.

Indian buffet. Good selections. Curry not spicy. Many choices including a salad bar. Mango lassi was particularly good. Simple service and pay at the cash register. They just raised over $33,000 for disaster relief in Nepal. Glad to support.

I admit that I am not a huge fan of Indian buffets but end up at one every once in a while with my boyfriend. I get tired by typical the six different versions of the same tasting stewed coconut chicken. This place did not bore me at all. Wow, actually. The lunch buffet had 2 chicken options: one tikka...
