Fine food; enjoyable when quiet.

Two family couples came on an early Sunday evening when it was rather quiet (not counting the hard rain that hit while there). This is a converted industrial building with seating in one open room, bar on one side, kitchen open on one end. Our server was pleasant, engaging, informal and attentive... read more

Sat outside on the sidewalk on a beautiful evening. The dinner was fantastic. We ordered 4 different items and all were prepared to perfection. Loved the option to sit outside but the chairs are the most uncomfortable chairs ever. For such a nice place a little more investment in the outside seating would match everything else that is offered.

I am usually a steak person, but was going out on a Lenten Friday a couple months ago and it was a blessing in disguise...The special of the night was Ahi tuna with rice noodles and an Asian glaze/sauce. It was absolutely one of the best meals of my life. The service was awesome and they have some amazing cocktails... More

Great location in trendy Nordeast, Minneapolis. Old warehouse interior feel - assume it had been remodeled from a warehouse. Great food. Risotto, strip steak, chicken. Killer chocolate cake for dessert. The only issue is they seem to have problems booking large groups. Not sure why?????

Stopped in for a drink before dinner down the street. Enjoyed a crisp cider which was delicious. It was the only one to choose from the menu. The service was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Bar stools are padded!

Late evening after a full day of on air work and we were hungry, wanted good food and a creative menu. A drive over to the Beau Arts area and what originally looked like a bar/dive on first impression turned out to be a find. While told we could order the dinner menu until 1030 that turned out to be... More

We were in town with friends for the weekend and enjoyed breakfast here on a Saturday morning. Great ambiance, service and food. It was nice to see corn beef hash on the menu. Real corn beef and real potatoes! Will be back.

From the other reviews I read prior to going to the Red Stag, I was skeptical about what we might encounter. Well, the food was above average the wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. We had cheese curds for a starter, YUM. Had the duck for the main and it was very good, don't think you will be disappointed.

Great food and atmosphere, but the service sucks!!!! Our waitress forgot multiple things and left our water glasses empty for an hour. Not only that, but she had a major attitude problem. I have been here before and many of the wait staff are like this. Food was very good. I recommend their brunch dishes, but I had their Ruben... More

My boyfriend and I just went here for our date night dinner and everything was great! The food was amazing...the cheese curds with their homemade ketchup for an appetizer is a must...and the service was good. There's also a great drink menu to take advantage of. The setting is very warm and inviting, and I greatly appreciate a restaurant that... More
