It's too bad this place has closed and couldn't be saved Food and service was wonderful. Maybe the owners will get it together and reopen..

having never been to heidi's before, we all went for the first time. the appetizers and main course were delicious. we all had something different. the room/area is stark -- not a lot of personality going on and i thought, for what we received, pretty expensive. i'd probably return but it would be nice to lower the prices a bit... Went to Heidi's last night with neighbors and had a wonderful meal. No more molecular gastronomy on the menu and the quality of the food was outrageous. Expensive yes but fantastic. Also, they have not succumbed to the horrible chef trait of over salting. Service was a little stuffy, but I tend to prefer casual but attentive service. Thank you... More

The owner of Heidi's also had Birdhouse Restaurant in Minneapolis. Birdhouse abruptly closed it's doors this spring. I had a gift card, and asked Heidi Woodman if it could be transferred to Heidi's. Heidi asked me if I had a receipt, ("No, it was a gift"), when it was purchased, transaction number, how it was purchased, where it was purchased... More

We again had the four course tasting menu. Three had the unbeatable lamb shank and wife enjoyed the steel head trout which was beautifully prepared and server medium rare. The only complaint is that two of us ordered the grilled oysters and there was only two scant bites. All the deserts were delectable. All in all still one of the... More

This is a tale of two Heidi's. It was our first time at the restaurant, and we had read reviews and talked with friends who had gone. So we went with great expectations. We found two Heidi's. One was chic, modern, a wonderful menu, and some excellent food. The other was rather lethargic in pace, a waitress who had a... More

Nice atmosphere, nice waiter, WONDERFUL meal. Enjoyed celebrating our anniversary. Highly recommend the lamb shank. The mushroom ragout appetizer and the risotto were great, and the mango dessert was very unique (light and full of flavor). The four course menu was a real winner!

Just visited Heidi's again because they were offering a special for a few weeks where you could bring your own wine and they were NOT charging corkage. We love eating here for the food, but the wine - while excellent choices - is on the pricey side - very few reds under $60. Most folks order the 4 course tasting... More

We had not been to Heidi's for dinner for some time. We had joined some friends for brunch, we were not impressed. Dinner last night, excellent, you could not ask for more. My wife and I each had the prix fixe menu, we had eight different selections, all were well prepared, presented beautifully, and were extremely pleasant to the to... More
