For years we have enjoyed SJ ice cream. The cookies are also great. The location is busy but service is fast. The prices have not changed much in over twenty years. We usually get a quart or a couple pints to go for later. Enjoy!

Before the FroYo invasion of 2013, I was going to SJ's every week with my dairy-loving friends. Recently, we went back for an oddly urgent winter craving, and I remembered why ice cream is so superior. Yes, the lines can be long in the summer. And yes, the pressure of choosing a flavor before you get a chance to visually... More

I've been going to Sebastian Joe's for over 15 years. I'm willing to driver more than 60 miles each way to get some great ice cream. So many choices. I always go back to my Favorite Raspberry Chocolate Chip. It's worth the drive.

In the summer expect lines. But the lines move quickly and the ice cream is great. Worth standing in line for. Many options, including the traditional. Very, very good. The place itself has a few tables, but most people get their cones, milkshakes, sundaes whatever and they go elsewhere to eat.

The ice cream was some of the best in the cities. I'm very picky about the freshness of my ice cream, because you eat old, freezer burned, stale ice cream you can't get that taste out of your mouth for a month. SJ's is always fresh! Inside decor needs cleaning and freshed up.

When you arrive at Sebastian Joe's, the long line of customers provides visual assurance that this is one of the best super-premium ice cream parlors in the Twin Cities. While I give the edge to my hometown Grand Ole Creamery, Sebastian Joe's is a close #2 for me in the Twin Cities super-premium ice cream parlor competition. The ice cream... More

A friend took us to this place in Linden Hills and we loved the raspberry or mandarin ice cream with chocolate chips. Try it! Great little shop.

We love Sebastian Joe's! It's a great summer go to spot for the whole family. The flavors are original and everything taste like it's REALLY homemade. They switch up the flavors a lot which is nice as some places don't do this as much. My favorite is the hand dipped waffle cone which is sooo yummy here, with whatever coffee... More

Anytime I've been here the line has been out the door, but the ice cream is way better than anywhere else. Izzi's is overpriced, but this stuff is worth the extra few bucks. The Nicollet Pot Hole (chocolate everything but covered in salted caramel) is a highlight!

30 of us on a bus coming back from a corporate event got a craving for ice cream. So at 10:15pm we roll up, got everyone through, and were back on the road 25 min later. The ice cream was fantastic (not hard frozen), waffle cone just right, but most impressive was the service!
