My daughter recently relocated to Minneapolis, MN. The day we arrived to help her apartment hunt, was my birthday. After researching good eats in Minneapolis, I decided I wanted to spend my birthday here. I was not disappointed. My daughter and I tend to have eyes bigger than our stomachs, and we had a case of this that evening. It... More

We sat on the patio as there were no tables inside and it was one of the nicest patios I've been on. The tables are shielded from street view mostly, by large plants and at dusk the patio lights turn it into a wonderful place to enjoy a great meal. I enjoyed the rotisserie chicken with candied yams and corn... More

Came here with several friends while in town a few weeks ago. It was an absolutely fantastic meal. We had to wait for about an hour -- the place was packed -- but we had beers and chips with guac while we waited, and it hardly felt like much time at all. Plus, it was wholly worth the wait. It... My family enjoyed Sunday brunch on a lovely summer day. We were seated inside but the big garage door wall was open, essentially making it well shaded outdoor seating. I liked the mix-and-match style of the menu, with a protein, side, and bread choice. Everybody gets just what they like. For a meat place, it had a lot of veg... More

We read Adam Richman's remark about Brasa possibly being his favorite restaurant in the U.S. Not that I'm a Richman fan but that remark sets the expectation bar extremely high and I think unfair to Brasa. (needing to live up to that hype) Our first look and it wasn't the fancy decor of many restaurants, but kind of funky. The... More

Walked in and it didn't look like much.......but the bbq is amazing. Had the chicken, ribs, brisket and pulled pork. The stand out was the brisket. 14 hours of smoked awesomeness! My friend liked it so much that he got a whole one to go and ate it in the hotel room. The sides are good, liked the red beans.... More

The taste of the food was good, but I was overall pretty disappointed. the wait was 20mins +,there were flies in the dining area. The portions are not at all that big for the price you pay. my husbad and I spent $60 we couldve had a steak dinner for that. Way too much hype about this place. I liked the... More

Stopped here passing through from the Boundary Waters in Ely to the airport. Well worth the stop. Great food. Pulled-pork is delicious. The spinach w jalapeño was excellent. Also recommend the corn-bread. If I lived here, I'd be a regular.

We were in town for a conference and as we were staying at an Airbnb in the area, we decided to take the suite's owner's advice and frequent one of the restaurants on her list. Brasa is a local eatery located in what appears to be an old garage. It sits on a corner of a relatively busy street, but... More

After reading all the ravishing reviews all over yelp we walked in on a perfect Sunday afternoon. Ordered Pulled pork with rice & pigeon peas with ham sofrito. Pulled pork was average. it never melted in my mouth like lot of reviews i read. Found a big piece of cooked melted plastic in the rice :) the staff was kind... More
