We usually order off the appetizer menu and share several dishes with a group. Portions are large enough to share. Absolutely delicious!

We tried this for a casual Friday night dinner and we weren't disappointed in the food. We especially enjoyed the variety of non-alcoholic beverages available with each of our party of 5 ordering a different one and sharing tastes! Service was a tad slow but we overlooked that minor issue.

I went to Saffron with a mall group of professional colleagues on a Friday night. Saffron is in the warehouse district in downtown Minneapolis a busy area with many restaurants, bars and night clubs. Saffron is a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant but its atmosphere was no exception with a busy young professional crowd. As vegetarian ordered one of the two vegetarian... More

My adult daughter choose this restaurant because the menu offers a bit more adventurous eating options. We were disappointed. We started with a couple of fun and reasonably priced cocktails. We tasted and shared our way through several options our favorite a vegetarian tangine. Prompt friendly service added to good but not great food made for a nice evening.

We visited Saffron with friends who are regular guests here and was looking forward to a great meal - they said everything on the menu was terrific. At the table, we started with an order or lamb brain and an order of the artichoke hearts. Both were tasty and great. Lamb brain portion very small! Artichoke hearts were sharp with... More

I chose this restaurant for a girls night during Restaurant week in MPLS. The food was very good, but I think overpriced for the quantity. I don't think I would be willing to pay that much again. I was able to try the spinach soup which was good, but very small portion. I then had the lamb which was good... More

Been going to this place regularly for two years and a half. Tried almost everything on the menu (some items change, but the tastiest are always there, like the gnocchi and the tagines), and there has never been a single dish that hasn't blown me away. Highly recommend the chicken and porcini croquettes, the lamb brain, and especially the branzini.... More

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The overall experience was very good but the tapas were outstanding... The lighting and scene were equally enjoyable.
