Food was very tasty and different than you're typical Sunday brunch buffet. Based on the food quality, I'd come back again, but the restaurant was so noisy and loud we basically ate in silence. Sunday brunch is a communal meal if there ever is a communal meal and this restaurant fails on this aspect.

I'm not really sure why this place doesn't get more attention. It's so consistently delicious... Great service and atmosphere as well.

al Vento's brunch is a good value, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you like a very loud/noisy environment. Brunch is more European with a good variety of main and side dishes. Service was very attentive, but we had trouble conversing because the acoustics are horrible. For the price and environment it's tough to top the St. Paul Grill, which... More

I went here on a Tuesday night with 5 other girls for a holiday dinner. One of my friends recommended this place. It was so good! I would go back tonight! Everything we all ordered was so good! My only complaint was that the Caesar salad was so garlicky that is was bitter. My breath probably still smells like garlic!... More

I love little neighborhood Italian restaurants like this one. Some friends who live nearby took us to al Vento for dinner and it was fantastic. I had canneloni stuffed with spinach, ricotta cheese and topped with the "mother sauce," one of the best red sauces I've ever tasted. Prices were reasonable and there was adequate parking. Very enjoyable.

a group of friends visited this restaurant as it was in the neighborhood of an event we were attending and this place had good reviews. The atmosphere was pleasant if a little too dark, dificult to read the menu. very busy place with lats of people coming and going through out our meal. We ordered the bruchetta sampler....very good, I... More

Al Vento is the best brunch for the greatest value in Minneapolis; excellent all around, the decor is amazing and a wonderful selection of hot and cold items. Bottomless mimosas too and all for $20 (or $14 with non-alcoholic beverage).

WOW! Pork tenderloin and polenta was AWESOME! I read the review from Ron W from April 2013 where he described this dish. It was on the menu for my visit in Oct. 2013. The polenta was definitely a hit. I don’t think I can eat normal polenta ever again. Try it. I thought it was a bit pricey at $21... More

Nice selection of choices with a pasta, 2 egg dishes, salmon, salads, desserts with chocolate fountain. Cheeses were a high point. They do a good job keeping replenished and keeping warm. Only downside for me was ambience: outside was loud and underdecorated, inside was dark
