It was a great place to have hearty Italian pasta dishes; the gnocchi was fabulous and the wine selection was good. The server was not that fantastic and we got our bread after the meals came. Not the best service for the inflated prices.

My wife, daughter and I ate brunch here when we visited Minneapolis over Easter weekend. They have a very nice brunch and you can elect to pay extra for unlimited mimosas, bloody Marys or screwdrivers. The brunch offers a lot of variety but doesn't overwhelm you. It was perfect for us.

Stopped here with friends the night before flying out for vacation. Small and cozy place. Brought our own wine, corkage was reasonable. Food was exceptional. Sauces were bright and flavorful. Kitchen and management flexible. Good value. If I lived closer, I would be a regular.

I went with a group of my girlfriends for brunch this Sunday. It's all buffet style, which was limited, but very good. The ambiance of the place is romantic italian, so we were eating brunch in a very dark corner, which did not feel right on a nice spring day. All of us were very disappointed with the service. Our... My family and I had dinner here for the second time in three weeks. We all had pasta. I had the pappardelle with braised chicken again. It was so good, perfect al dente consistency with just enough spice . I had two more meals the following day with the left overs. The Caesar salad however could be improved on. The... More

The ambiance of the restaurant was endearing on the inside. The hostess brought us straight to our seat and the waiter came over a few minutes later to check on our party. The service throughout the meal was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Sometimes our waiter was very attentive and filling drinks, and other times he was missing for long durations... More

Always hard to deicide what to eat here...the meatballs w mother sauce is always delicious. Pizza is great. Special entrees are terrific, too. Restaurant is clean, pretty, and often crowded. Nice service, too. You can't go wrong!

I made my first visit to Al Vento the other week and I was glad I did. I sat down and enjoyed the freshly burnt edges of my menu as I decided on a glass of wine to start things off. After settling on a Cabernet, it was onto the food menu. Not being a regular here and understanding the... More
