I love sea food and I can think of no other outdoor restaurant I'd rather visit for sea food. The serving size is good and the cole slaw is tangy and just perfect. I really like the outdoor seating near Minnehaha Falls a few meters away. Will I go back? You bet! Again and again!

If you like the outdoors and good food, this is an unlikely but great place to find both. Inside the Minnehaha Park and right adjacent to Minnehaha Falls, Sea Salt is only open in the summer months and boasts the best seafood in town. Fish Tacos seem to be their specialty and come in fried and grilled varieties. We got... More

The seafood and ambience are so magnificent here, I await springtime as much for their seasonal opening as I do for the flowers to come up! The seafood is the best in town, the service is attentive and fun and they have a hot sauce bar of over 50 different hot sauces from around the world. The fried fish sandwich... More

I enjoyed talking walks or biking around Minnehaha Falls. You can combine the outdoors with a stop for some good seafood at a decent price. The fish tacos are good and priced just right. The only drawback is the long lines that you would encounter since so many local folks enjoy this place. My advise is to plan to come... More

My wife and I were planning on going to Minnehaha falls and wanted a place to eat nearby when Sea Salt came up on searches. My wife was worried it would be all fried food or would be dirty as so many "concessions" are when they are located in parks. What a surprise this was! Very good good, great prices,... More

In a beautiful wide-open green space near the Mississipe River. Made fmosr by H.W. Longfellow's peom, 'The song of Hiawatha". Former park pavillion, now SeaSaltEatery. Very casual! Most affordable, freshest seafodo in town! Plan to spend 30-45 minutes in line to order - great people watching. Some tables (picnic) inside or lots of tables (deck style) on massive outdoor deck,... Waiting in line is half the experience of eating here, comparing choices with the guy next in line, having someone yell out that, "No, no, get the halibut. Really good today". Then doing just what he said to do. Fun - and the fish is good. Mmmmm!

We make it our mission to come here once a year for their fish sandwich. It is so good and big. Wish there were more places like this around that sold fish that tasted this good.

On Mother's Day in 2012, I waited 90 minutes to place my order. The condition of the tables/sidewalk was disgusting - it was so busy no one could keep up cleaning, I will not ever go on a holiday again. In the summer, this place attracts lots of people. It is family-friendly, dog-friendly, but expect a long wait. Go for... More

Weekly. We come here weekly as a family. Close enough to the house (you can lightrail here folks) and the beer selection (and separate dedicated beer line) makes it the perfect happy hour. Mahi tacos rock the casbah and the fish and chips are legit.
