It can be difficult to find Sea Salt as the restaurant is located in a popular public park. The parking is in the minnehaha park lot (a couple bucks for two hours). The walk into the park with such big trees is refreshing. It is a two block wak to Sea Salt from the parking lot. When you get inside... More

The last time I was there was on the last day of the season for Sea Salt. The mahi mahi tacos were delicious. Our family, including family from Portland, enjoyed a variety of sea food dishes, and then walked to nearby Minnehaha Falls, on a beautiful, fall day. The line is often long at Sea Salt, so arrive early or... More

This place is fun, casual, outside seating(mostly) restaurant and the food is really good. A picnic like atmosphere with very good fish entrees and fish tacos are great. You can expect very fresh ingredients and thus long lines, so grab a beer from the beer wagon and people and dog watch while waiting.

The food was great and the atmosphere was just right with the falls in the background, lots of people watching etc. Wish there was more inside seating as the weather was chilly, but all in all a wonderful break during our bike ride.

The park setting is gorgeous and the seafood is interesting ( and pretty good), but the queue to order coupled with the lack of enough seating often leaves me waiting too long and with no place to sit once the food actually arrives. God help you if you're forced to sit inside where the concrete surfaces amplify every sound. This... More

A local told me about this place and I was immediatly interested since I love sea food. Found it and loved the food so much I went back twice even though I was in MN for a weeks trip. Good beer, good service, good food. Ordered the fish sandwich and stuffed advocado the first day and fried fish po boy... More

We were on a bike trip in Minneapolis. We stopped at Sea Salt 3 times. We loved relaxing on the patio, which is in Minnehaha park, having a beer or wine and one night we had the fresh fried fish. It was delicious! They frequently have live music too!

We enjoyed tilapia and mahi tacos while the Grandkids had the usual (burger & fries). There's also an ice cream shop which was popular with the kids. Reasonable prices and delicious food. We had calamari, and of course didn't mention what it was until the kids tried it :o)

How fortunate a friend suggested I would love the food at the SEA SALT EATERY. He was definitely right. I ordered the deep fried oyster basket with cole slaw. My friend ordered the catfish and we shared with each other. I loved my oysters but I can't wait to go back and have the catfish. The oysters were piping hot... More

I love this place! The down fall is that depending on what time you get there you may have to wait in line, which, at times can get pretty long (I've waited for 45 minutes before). If you find yourself in that predicament you are still able to order a drink or ice cream if you wanted to start with... More
