Sea Salt has always been a fun place to visit while visiting Minnehaha Falls! However, bring your patience with you! From parking, to the long lines, it will take quiet a while to get in here, on your average day. The seafood is fresh and they offer fun drinks, too! They do sell out of many items from time to... Owned and operated by Coastal Seafoods which supplies the vast majority of local stores and restaurants with seafood throughout the year, this charming restaurant is open from April through October each year in the Minnehaha Park Pavilion located in south Minneapolis. Everything on the menu is fresh and well prepared. Fried oysters cooked to perfection, raw oysters on the half... More

During the summer months they have local musicians playing outside. You are close to the falls (you can hear and smell the water). Great food but be prepared to stand in line to order. Great place to go out with friends or a date in early summer evenings. The mosquitoes will drive you crazy after a certain hour.

Get there early ( like 11 am) to avoid long lines. Even that is ok as its fun to people watch while waiting. Parking is the only problem but we live close enough to walk.

A different food experience. The line was long, so we went to the bar and ordered a beer before we got in line. The wait wasn't as bad as we expected. We placed our order and sat at a table outside. The food was delivered to us and it was wonderful. The restaurant has beer and wine as well as... More

Go for the Falls and stay for the food at Sea Salt. Lines can get long at prime times. Lots of outdoor seating, super casual --beer and wine available.

I ate lunch here on a Saturday, earlier this month while visiting the park and falls. I had read such great reviews of the restaurant that I wanted to check it out and it was conveniently located after my wanderings in the park. The restaurant opens at 11:00 a.m. and while waiting for it to open, I was looking for... More

Along with the great location right by the falls, we love Sea Salt for their unpretentious seafood. Always good, always great beer available and worth the wait. My friend had the fish basket and I had the fish tacos - both were excellent. We'll definitely be back.

A much touted eatery failed to capture me as I was taken a back by the dust that coated much of the décor. I was not expecting fabulous but clean yes. This eatery along the Minnehaha Falls may be a choice venue and it seemed to offer some great seafood options... I just could not get over the appearance. Really,... More

Ate here for lunch during a business trip. This is a must sit outside restaurant located adjacent to the Minnehaha falls. The fish tacos are awesome; they taste good and the proportion is just right for lunch. If you have time, I suggest taking a walk along the river to view the beautiful waterfalls.
