I will preface this review by stating I had an less than ideal experience on my first trip to Stella's - which involved an $85 Groupon for a $180 East Cost Lobster Bake. On that experience, the Lobsters served in the pot were tiny and overcooked. There was no way the food/drink served under the Groupon special was worth anything... More

We had reservations on a Saturday night - it was packed and very busy, but we got in right on time. As an added bonus we got upstairs seating right next to the window so got to people watch. It is a bummer you can't reserve for the rooftop, but understand. We did have a limited mobility person with us... More

Located in the Uptown area, Stella's is a great spot for dinner. Roof top seating available. Started with Lobster Bisque and Clam Chowder. Both were good - rate near the top. Enjoyed the Plank Salmon special and the Halibut special. The salmon was served with mashed potato and a large stalk of broccoli. Everything is ala carte. we split a... More

I have been to Stella's twice now, once for drinks and appetizer and the second time for lunch. Both times we went to sit on the rooftop which is just amazing when it's sunny out with a little breeze. Staff are attentive and reliable which is also a plus. The appetizer we had, coconut shrimp tasted great - although I... More

We have been wanting to try Stella's for a long time. We were pleased with the rooftop atmosphere and the staff was great. But the food was terrible and overpriced. My husbands walleye was average but my lobster was really bad. We sent it back the first time because it was undercooked and cold. The staff replaced it with a... More

I had the crab legs, nicely prepared. Other dishes done to order as well. We enjoyed the rooftop atmosphere. Nothing bad to say, though did seem a bit pricey overall...we would go back though.

Dinning with friends in private dinning room. Food was good but a little pricey. Service was fair, could have been better. Overall good evening with friends.

We have eaten at Stella's several times when we are in the uptown area of Minneapolis. If possible, we always eat on the roof - great atmosphere! The drinks and food are a bit pricey, but we have always received good service, fine drinks, and great food!

Wow what a great dining experience. My husband, daughter and I went to celebrate birthday and anniversary. We had: scallops, crab stuffed salmon and sword fish steak. All three dinners so good not a morsel of anything left on our plates. (Didn't lick them but wanted to). It's been a long time since we had perfect service and a perfect... More

I've been here many times for oysters on happy hour. They're usually good, sometimes they're not. I've been here twice for dinner, and will not do so again. The whole restaurant seems more like a college party place than a restaurant. It seems most people here are drinking. The food is not the focus, it is quite average. The fried... More
