Yes, Stella's is a bit on the expensive side. You are paying for the location and the quality seafood. Let's start with the location. Right in Uptown, right on Lake Street. Great views from the deck of city and Lake Calhoun. On a beautiful day, it doesn't get any better. (I also noticed that another reviewer titled their review "Stella's... More

89 cents oysters during happy hours is a darn good deal. Sure you can get slightly better if you get oysters from coastal seafood in Minneapolis for about $1.25 each, but then you'll have to shuck them yourselves. What you don't get for the 89 cents oysters at Stella's is the briny sea goodness, which you can preserve better if... More

My husband and I have enjoyed the Lobster Bake on a couple of occasions and have never been let down! There is more than enough for two.

Loved their oysters, sushi and fish and chips. Stella's also has many other options other than seafood such adult mac and cheese and salads. In the summer they have a great roof deck with great drinks and great views. However, the pricing for the roof deck is more expensive.

My kids enjoyed their food, so did my husband! Food was amazing. The place was packed when we were there. Great atmosphere. Floor was a bit slippery, probably need a good scrub and a clean.

Great service (thanks Caitlin), $.69 oysters in the half shell on happy hour and the best sushi (backflip) I've had within the states. Love the atmosphere and decorating in the restaurant. Crab stuffed salmon as a main course can't be beat. Thanks for the great experience.

During this visit to Minneapolis, were told to try Stella's fish cafe. We weren't disappointed. The weather was perfect on the autumn night that we visited, so we got a great table on the roof top bar. The service was friendly. The view is excellent. Reservations are typically necessary for the dining area, but the rooftop bar is open to... More

We've been to Stella's a few times and are never disappointed. We've had sushi which was good as well as pasta and lobster. All were quite tasty. I'd recommend for a nice place eat, however get reservations, as it can be quite busy.

Only had 1 night in Minneapolis and there are so many places to try. We went with Stellas and were not disappointed. The food was great and so was the service. It was a beautiful day so roof top dining was a must!
