Loved this small, quaint and very put together eatery, which might easily be the best restaurant in Minneapolis! Choosing from the varied and exotic menu was tough, but I finally settled on the tagliatelle with foie gras meatballs and a side of exquisitely charred brussels sprouts -- both incredibly tasty choices. (No regrets there, except that there were another 10... More

The place is quite small. John provided excellent service. We had good conversation about the city as well as the new baseball season. The steak tartare was good as a starter. I had the tagliatelle with foie gras meatballs as my main dish. The meatballs were rich but light. Both dishes were good but not over the top. I had... More

Crowded, cramped and noisey (this cost one star), great food and serves late, we love it! There are many fine restaurants in Minneapolis these days, but finding one where you can dine at 10-11PM can be a challange even on a Saturday night. We have dined here many times the last time this past Saturday night, post theatre. It was... More

We showed up without reservations and was able to sit at the bar and eat. We let our bartender suggest items and he was spot on. The homemade ricotta is to die for. I could eat it for dessert. Everything was delish!

I attended dinner with my adult son and one of his buddies on a Sunday evening. I am pleased we made a reservation as the last time we showed up without one and were turned away. We were seated upstairs, but it is a nice room with a beautiful bar. The server was excellent, a well trained a professional. I... More

Very interesting menu with excellently prepared items. Small, but charming and energetic atmosphere.

Near the top of my top 10 list in Minneapolis for food and service. Sharing plates is the way to go to try as many dishes as possible. Favorites: gnocchi, burger, carrots with perorino, cauliflower fritters, butterscotch budino. Wise to make a reservation. You won't want to skip dessert!

This restaurant never disappoints; I've been here many times and still want to go back for more. Cauliflower fritters, steak tartare, butterscotch budino, great cocktails, wine, and terrific service. It's my go-to for bringing visitors and celebrating birthdays, etc. I also feel their prices are very fair.

Food and service were great. Wine list is excellent. We walked in and were able to sit at the bar upstairs, reservations recommended. This restaurant is indeed fine dining, atmosphere is dark and casual, it feels warm and inviting on a chilly evening. There are a few limited vegetarian options.
