The menu is huge and overwhelming, no idea why it must be so big. I got the Chicken Lo Mein and had enough for three meals. Our service was fast and the food was good. Not the best Chinese on campus, but they are open late and have a convenient location for myself.

I don't know why my family likes this place so much. I can never decide what I want to eat. The menu is way too much and the food isn't that great. Their duck is probably the best and their house chow fun is the best. But still isn't the greatest place. They need to clean up the place, like... More

I wish I would've remembered another reviewer said the plates were enough for 2. At first I thought the prices might be a little high, but once my daughter's plate of Orange Chicken got to the table I realized we could've shared. I had an order of spring rolls that were very good. There were a few large groups when... More

My wife dragged me here on a hometown visit. She used to be a regular during her 8 years at the university, and constantly talks about the roast duck. I finally got the pleasure on a rainy Monday. I am not a huge duck fan, unless it is Peking Duck with pancakes and hoisin sauce, but you need to order... More

It's convenient when working long hours at the U, but the food there is not so typical Chinese. Sometimes it's been fatty.

The menu has large selection and the price was fair. The plate serves size was good for two people to eat. It was nice overall.

For about a decade, this was the go-to place for reasonably priced reliably good Asian food. We called it 'the usual.' We were regulars from 1998 - 2010 or so, then went less frequently, maybe 3-4 times a year, so we were really disappointed and surprised by the decline in quality this visit. We ordered calamari, it was literally room... More

My wife and I had lunch @ Village Wok on 12/3/12 based on recommendations from U of M people . We had 3 won-ton dishes: won-ton soup, cheese won-tons, and fried dumplings, The flavor on the cheese won-tons and fried dumplings were good, but they use a thick won-ton wrapper that is very tough and the dishes were very greasy.... Great spot in Minneapolis for fast and tasty Chinese. Started going in college and haven't stopped since. Huge menu, delicious chicken curry, and addicting cream cheese puffs. Service is always super fast. Can get busy, expect to deal with a little bustle. Also, surprisingly good seafood for a midwest restaurant.
