Love going to this restaurant. We were at a wedding and staying at the Commons Hotel. Village Wok was across the street and open late which was awesome to go there after a long wedding reception. Yummy food, great variety and very affordable. High recommend this place

Placed an order to go for dinner on a Friday night and was told it would be ready in fifteen minutes. Get there in fifteen, not done. Wait another 5-10 minutes. It's fine, I understand a mistake and it's pretty busy. I'm forced to wait in this tiny crowded entryway with others that have been waiting longer, and one annoyed... More

This place has great variety and decent prices. It is main crowd are students at the U and it is located in front of the Light Tail so it is easy to get to it The service is so so but overall for the prices they offered and the variety is a good buy I was positively surprised with the... More

The menu is huge and overwhelming, no idea why it must be so big. I got the Chicken Lo Mein and had enough for three meals. Our service was fast and the food was good. Not the best Chinese on campus, but they are open late and have a convenient location for myself.

I don't know why my family likes this place so much. I can never decide what I want to eat. The menu is way too much and the food isn't that great. Their duck is probably the best and their house chow fun is the best. But still isn't the greatest place. They need to clean up the place, like... More

I wish I would've remembered another reviewer said the plates were enough for 2. At first I thought the prices might be a little high, but once my daughter's plate of Orange Chicken got to the table I realized we could've shared. I had an order of spring rolls that were very good. There were a few large groups when... More

My wife dragged me here on a hometown visit. She used to be a regular during her 8 years at the university, and constantly talks about the roast duck. I finally got the pleasure on a rainy Monday. I am not a huge duck fan, unless it is Peking Duck with pancakes and hoisin sauce, but you need to order... More

It's convenient when working long hours at the U, but the food there is not so typical Chinese. Sometimes it's been fatty.

The menu has large selection and the price was fair. The plate serves size was good for two people to eat. It was nice overall.

For about a decade, this was the go-to place for reasonably priced reliably good Asian food. We called it 'the usual.' We were regulars from 1998 - 2010 or so, then went less frequently, maybe 3-4 times a year, so we were really disappointed and surprised by the decline in quality this visit. We ordered calamari, it was literally room... More
