My wife and I visited the Keys Cafe on a Monday evening in June. The restaurant was largely empty and we were seated quickly by the friendly staff. We order a couple of beers while we viewed the menu. We ordered a reuben sandwich and a meat loaf sandwich. Both were generous in their proportion. The Reuben was tasty even... More

We loved our food and the service was wonderful too. We were there a little after 11 am so my husband got breakfast and I got lunch. He got an everything omelette and a buttermilk pancake, and said the pancake was one of the best he has ever had. I had the turkey club and it was real carved turkey,... More

Key's is a big place in the Foshay Tower. The marble covered pillars and old terrazzo floors conspire with the large crowds to make this place noisy and difficult to carry on a conversation over breakfast. Keys is known for their big portions and their bakery goods. The entrance is anchored by two large display cases of pies and pastries.... More

I had breakfast at Keys on three occasions while on an extended stay in Minneapolis. (I had lunch there one afternoon as well.) The service and food were very good. The portions are large and the price is very reasonable for what you get and the location. It seemed that a lot of locals who work downtown frequent the place,... More

We stopped here for breakfast twice during our visit. Breakfast was really good. Banana and pecan pancakes actually had the bananas and pecans mixed in the batter. Definitely prefer this over topping a plain pancake with the bananas and pecans. Grabbed a lemon bar and brownie for a late night snack on our way out the door. Really enjoyed these... More

We get a seat outside. A couple of waiters come out and one seems like she might be the supervisors comes out. No one greets us, we wait. There was another table who had 2 small children and they wanted to pay they asked another server if he would take their check and credit card. He said sorry I don't... More

We went for lunch and loved it. The best patty melt I have ever had!!! I don't know if it was the homemade bun, grilled onions or the meat that did it, but all together it was great. The atmosphere is awesome, our service was great, and the food outstanding!!!

Ate there on a Saturday morning. Place was packed but service was good. I usually don't order pancakes out ,but these were very good. Light and fluffy. Massive! Fresh OJ too.

The food was ok not worth the terrible waiter. He ignored my family almost our entire time there. He asked if we were ready to order after waiting 30 mins we all said yes and he walked away and didn't return for another 5 minutes.
