This is a nice outdoor option on a summer day. Basic pub fare and quick and attentive delivery. I especially appreciated the "wee lunch" option, which allowed some modicum of portion control and kept my lunch bill at a reasonable $10 with drink and tip.

This bar has a great Atmosphere and is a great place to go is you want to actually talk to your company. This bar has some very nice architecture and some very courteous employees. I strongly recommend visiting The Local on any visit to downtown Minneapolis.

My wife and I love the downtown area. Found this resturant and walked right in. Most diners were seated outside since the evening was nice. We chose to sit inside and had a nice space to ourselves. The fish and chips was tasty and a very good selection of beers. Service was prompt and attentive. Worth a visit!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Stayed for the beer, didn't eat. Good times had by all! Ironically, the Irish pub had soccer on and the British pub had baseball!!! Go figure. Came back in the morning for breakfast.

We were a table of 3 that sat on the patio. The food was very good and the wait staff helpful. I found the food and drink fairly priced. I'd visit again.

W e visited The Local on a beautiful July evening in Minneapolis. The outdoor seating was delightful with the great weather and the Irish beers on tap were well enjoyed. The food was good. Hearty portions and moderate prices. Service was good and very friendly.

This place has quite the atmosphere. After a long day at work our spirits were renewed with some good drinks and great food. It's a great place to catch up with your "grown up" friends. Looking for a nice quiet dinner this isn't your place but the food is divine. Try the pot roast...delish!

We dined here last evening. We started with cocktails. The 2 Gingers "Big Ginger" was awesome, I had to have two. My steak was delicious, even though it was slightly over cooked. My wife had the Rueben sandwich and was very pleased with it. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well. When downtown Minneapolis, I would recommend that you give this... More

We found The Local by chance. There is not a lot open at 11:30 on a Thursday night. We were seated and waited on promptly. It was pretty full and it offered a tremendous amount of people watching which was great. It opens your eyes if you live in rural anywhere....We ordered off the late night menu which offered everything... More
