Comfy, yet interesting

Travelling alone, it's sometimes awkward to ask for a table for one at a non-fast food restaurant, but the staff was welcoming and accommodating. There's a decent selection of wines, and the menu is creatively designed. You definitely get your money's worth out of the meal. For the price of the... read more

We came back because they have a large back room. My daughter organized the dinner for her group of friends, before their formal high school winter dance. She had 24 couples in her group, and they easily fit in the back room. We had pre-selected three main courses for the group members to choose from. The wait staff (3) kept... More

Don't go if there's a monster truck show, football game, or other big events as they get packed (one hour waits are typical!). It is a pretty cool layout and accommodates large groups easily. I think the meals are overpriced for pasta that's just average.

Great bread. Friendly server. I was a little disappointed in the menu. No pesto sauce. I ordered spaghetti with a mushroom sauce and was expecting more of a white wine type sauce and it was just marinara with mushrooms in it.

The food here was nothing that really made this restaurant stand out. Pretty standard for pasta and a chain restaurant. I enjoyed the Mizithra Cheese dish, but overall this restaurant does not that have that unique or flavorful food.

It was 3pm on a Sunday Jan 3rd and I had about 4 hours to kill before catching a flight home. The restaurant was across the street from the museum I was previously explored. I heard of the Old Spaghetti Factory chain before and figured why not give it a try. I was expecting something along the lines of the... More

This was a welcome distraction for our 2 and 5 year old after a long drive in from Chicago. The kids sat in an old train car and were entertained by a balloon artist while we dined. The interior looked to be an old church and maintained original woodwork and hanging stained-glass. It was beautiful. The food was okay. I... More

The restaurant is really set up nice. We must have got the new guy because service was okay. Not what you'd expect from a place that looks like this. The food was good and everyone I was with enjoyed it. Would go again if asked and definitely if someone else paid.

The old spaghetti factory has been a downtown Minneapolis institution for years. We've been there a few times over the years. It hasn't changed all that much. Their dinners come with soup or salad, bread and dessert. The salad was a bowl of iceberg lettuce with some dressing and a few croutons. The bread was good and warm, and they'll... More

Bland food, I mean it's a nice place but if you hate flavor, and prefer bland food then pick this place.
