To say I was a regular here is an understatement. But I love this place. Bar tender, Matt is a great guy. Elise at lunch is such a lady. The specials are always great. With wonderful color on the plates. Regular menu is great very little will disappoint.

Perfect evening at a fantastic neighborhood gem! We finally tried Eli's in NE Minneapolis, we loved it! We took advantage of a beautiful fall evening and sat outdoors, great little patio with a fire element and excellent service. The drinks were old school cocktails made by a bartender that obviously respects his craft. Food was divine, we had the house... More

Had both lunch and dinner here. Lunch was a sandwich and soup, both of which were really good The coq-au-vin was also very flavorful. The service was good. The atmosphere is noisy after a Gopher game, but we had a quiet corner near the back door.

...as in walking distance...but then, if it were, I'd probably be walking there every day! Staff are super (almost as good as Lush servers)...food is wonderful....many familiar items are taken up a notch. Drinks are well crafted...altho maybe a touch on the pricier side. Patio is a lovely place to enjoy an evening. Love Eli's East...!

We had a great time and enjoyed the food. Chalkboard selections gave a variety of dinner selections. Our group enjoyed their meals. We will go back and will recommend to our friends.

Last night we went for a drink and some apps. It was perfect weather and the patio is set back from the main street so it is pretty quiet. I had a Lambic and he had a Chestnut Hill. We shared tots and Brussels sprouts. The tots were pretty pedestrian but delicious with some Sriracha. The Brussels sprouts were delicious.... More

Loved this place. The NE Mpls area is great for foodies anyway but we had never tried Eli's East. Great food, decent prices, nice bar and great atmosphere. We will be back.

This was my first time to Eli's, and some of my friend's are regulars since they live Nordeast. Since this was my first visit, I would like to come back, and try something different since my choice was not up to my expectation. I ordered off the appetizer menu and had the, "TUNA TATAKI", with sesame seed, crusted yellowfin tuna,... More

The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. I had the chopped salad and it was very good. The prices are reasonable and I would love to go back for happy hour soon.

As it happens, I hadn't had the chance to have my corned beef and cabbage on St. Patty's day. Luckily, they were still serving it the day after. YUM. The menu looked great. Nice selection of beers. Service was good. I'd go back when in town.
