Just left the restaurant, and if I hadn't already walked for miles, I would have left as soon as I hit the front door. I was yearning for asian, but really couldn't find any in this area that made me want to eat there. So I ended up here and it was just plain nasty. I can't believe all the... More

Our reservation for four was seated promptly at the proper time but rather than start service, they waited for two other unreserved walk-ins join us without first asking us if we minded. Decor was OK but as others have mentioned, the first scent impression was one of old stale grease hanging in the air. Alcohol is completely overpriced even for... More

Good food and drinks, fun preparation by the chef in front of you. This was an early date with a woman who had never seen this cooking style. The skill and humor of the food preparer made tho a special evening for us . A cozy decor also.

This has either gone downhill or my tastes have matured. The furniture, the décor, and the staff all look like 1992. It seems dirty, rundown and unprofessional. The seafood tastes good but the rest is a cheap imitation to stretch their dollars. Frozen veggies, salty broth soup, amateur chefs. Please go to Benihana, I feel like the show is a... More

The décor was really nice and the food was excellent. A must visit if you are ever in Minneapolis. The restaurant is right across the street from the Hyatt Regency.

Great location near downtown hotels; we walked from the Millennium hotel to the restaurant. Decor is prettier than most Japanese steak houses. Food was wonderful and they had a nice wine list as well. For parties of 4 or more I would definitely recommend.

We ate here two nights in a row since we liked the sushi so much. We had kids with us so we did not do the all you can eat but ordered a la carte sushi in the bar area and averything was great.

Dissapointed with this place. Food was just so-so. Cook did not engage with group. Did the normal greeting thing then just cooked and passed around food and got some of that wrong. Food overpriced and then they charged $5.00/beer and $9.00/wine. $150.00 for two and get mediocre food and watch somebody cook. :(

I have been to Ichiban's several times and have always enjoyed the food. My recent experience has caused me great concern regarding how seriously they take complaints. My husband caught a cockroach running across the table and caught it in his napkin. When he brought it to the manager's attention, they offered him a coupon that is available in many... More

i have tried the table and all you can eat buffet and have been disapointed for both...and they are overpriced.... The long wait don't worth it even if the place is great looking.... the service is not such great and food is really average by its taste, quality and quantity.. they try to make it fancy playing around but that's...
