Good dinner

I had dinner here with some co-workers while staying in town for a trade show. Server was sweet, but we could barely understand her; her English was very poor. And we had to ask about the dinner specials which were advertised for $25 each - she failed to mention them. Had we not seen a sign when... read more

One night I had the sushi bar all you can eat and it was very good. Last night I ate at the tepanaki table and felt that is was only mediocre and way overpriced. The chicken liver appetizer was horrible, none in my party could eat it.

First time in forever I have gone to a Japanese steak house and a real Japanese person actually worked there. Our waitress (owner?) was a friendly Japanese woman. Menu will fill you up with a feast for about $45. They could use a lot more flexibility in menu substitutions and vegetarian options.

The $32 (plus tax and service) all you can eat sushi is a great deal. The fish was fresh and the friendly people making it were keen to make whatever I wanted (they asked me at least three times if there was anything specific I wanted). The deal also includes gyoza and tempura. They have a teppanyaki area of the... More

Had a group of 13, so made it difficult for us to all be around the hibachi grill and to have any type of conversation with the other members of our group. Young lady who first came to help explain things had such a soft voice, so it was difficult to hear her. The room was noisy and she didn't... More

We walked in and there was 3 men at the hostes booth. My husband thought they were rude but I thought how they asked what we were coming to eat was fine (hibachi or sushi). We choose sushi so they said to sit in the sushi area and pointed to it. The place is old and needs to be upadated... More

"Astonishingly average" is all I can really say about the food. It is what it is, you get more or less what you expect from eating at what is basically the Applebee's of Japanese cuisine. I could appreciate that if I wasn't paying for something 2 or 3 times as expensive as an Applebee's meal. But what bumps this down... More

We were in town for a volleyball tournament and went here for dinner with players and parents. They were very accommodating and helpful when I called to make the reservation because Open Table would not allow me to make a reservation for 20 nor would it allow me to reserve two tables for 10, so I called and they made... We busted to celebrate a cousin's birthday. The food was beautifully cooked, the group tried most of the combinations and different starters. Our chef had a couple of funny moments where his juggling did not finish up as planned. I was the only one in the group to have the green tea sherbet, which was very refreshing.

this place is the best in town. To go along with great Hibachi the fried rice is better no place else. If you like a nice cut of beef, they use better than all others. If you're not looking for hibachi, they have a floating ice bar of unlimited sushi and appetizer type food. The place is expensive, $50-70/PP when... More
