Burger, malt, fries = yummy

Three of us split a vanilla malt - yummy. Burgers say 'medium' on menu, but we couldn't see even a touch of pink on ours, yet still tender and flavorful with a soft bakery bun that reminded us of a 50's diner. 1/2 order of fries for $3.95 for 3 people was way too much and we only managed to... read more

Had a great lunch outside at Annie's - milkshake is enough to share for 2 people, and a half order of fries is also more than enough for 2! Tried the smoked cheddar burger with mushrooms and it was hand-pattied and great tasting. Will definitely be back. Great food and good prices.

Visiting U of Minnesota and got a local recommendation to try Annie's. Glad we did. Malts were great, burgers were spot on and fresh cut fries were perfect

This establishment has been around for a long time and it's just as fun to check out today as it was in the 80s. It's an upstairs restaurant in Dinkytown at the University of Minnesota. The portions are huge, so expect to share an order of fries with 2 or more people. The food is good, a little greasy but... More

The burgers are all good and you can order them medium rare if you like (I like!). The fries are really good (a large order will supply 4 hungry adults...). The main claim to fame, and why you would want to choose this place over 5 GUYs (not including the quieter atmosphere and the awesome rooftop patio at Annie's) are... More

We visit every time we are in town, 2 or 3 times a year. It is a burger and shake shop right outside the University grounds in the Dinkytown neighborhood. Delicious every time!! We share a burger, and a half order of fries, so we have room to enjoy our own shake. My favorite is Coffee, but they are all... More

Burgers are big and juicy, lots of variety of add ons and the shakes are old fashion, huge and served in the can. be careful when you poor your second helping as you will quickly over flow you glass. They provide plenty of napkins. Outgdoors is nice.

We both ordered burgers that came on fresh, tasty buns. The fries are very good and a half order feeds two easily. The malts are also good and once again enough for two. I recommend the blueberry honey combination.

A friend recommended we try Annie's and I'm glad we did. The burgers were huge. No fancy/gourmet toppings, but they weren't needed. I'm glad the waitress suggested we share a half order of fries instead of the full order--that would've been way too much. We went mid-afternoon, so there were only a few tables occupied. Friendly and fast service. An... More

My husband and I loves this place!! We went here for lunch and for some onion rings which were amazing and huge! If you like burgers try the Cesar Burger, comes with a regular hamburger with a side Cesar salad! If you end up getting their famous fries and get the full order, make sure you have several people eating... More
