The meal was quite good but the menu was very extensive. this leads me to wonder how some many curries can be prepared freshly.

I just attended a wedding in Minneapolis, where food was catered from Bombay Bistro. All the guests on our table were horrified as soon as they tasted the food. The caterer had used stale "Makhanas" in one of the vegetable, which could be noticed in first bite itself. I asked the owner to come to my table and taste the... More

Loved the food and the portions. Most action in the downtown area is two streets across where the pub district starts so this is a lovely place to eat on a busy day. Definitely coming back again.

My parents from India were visiting US for the first time. They wanted to have chai/tea with some appetizers. We were in the area, so we decided to go to Bombay Bistro. Based on my previous visits here, I thought they would like the chai/tea and appetizers like samosa/pakoras. It was about 5:30 in the evening and the restaurant had just... More

We almost didn't choose this restaurant because of some of the reviews - but decided to anyway and are so glad we did. The food AND the service was fabulous. Our group shared items including Slumdog Bhel Poori, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka and several kinds of naan - including the Peshawari. All were delicious - well prepared... We ate at this restaurant 2 times 5 years ago during a visit to Minneapolis. All these years later the Bombay Bistro is the Indian restaurant we compare all Indian restaurants too. When friends go to Minneapolis we tell them they have to go experience this!

Well , if you want overpriced poorly cooked food with hairs in your curry than this restaurant is for you , otherwise simply go to jimmy johns or good old old fast food chain and you will be a very happy camper. Customer service rude and obnoxious . No regard for customers need and time.

Small portions, just OK meals, too expensive for the size of very inexpensive material. Service barely adequate. I Will not return.

Points to Remember: 1. North Indian Chefs cook differently than the South Indian Chefs and that's a fact! 2. I am from Bombay myself, I am extremely touchy about restaurants putting my beloved city's name and serving "authentic" Indian food. 3. If the Indian food you serve ain't good, I will rip you apart. If it is as good as... More

My husband is from India, and our kids love Indian food, so we are always on the look out for great Indian food. This place is amazing in it's food, presentation, and service. It's not your typical Indian restaurant with christmas lights and black velvet paintings. It is a place you could take your clients to. The Cilantro Chicken I... More
