When you want something good really fast.

This is a great place to get a good meal fast. We were on our way to a show with about 40 minutes to eat. One can choose from an array of beautiful salads. If you are a vegetarian, no problem. If you have a little more time there are hot, made-to-order pastas and pizza as well. Everything is well... read more

Was there on a Saturday night with friends - impromptu choice. Not crowded, not empty - we were able to sit outdoors on a corner of Hennepin Avenue and pretend we were in Europe eating pasta and checking out the local "Eye-talians". The prices are mid-range, parking nearby is free and the staff is courteous and friendly. No attempts to... More

We stopped in for a late lunch after we had finished some business in the area. I have never dined here before, so it was a new experience for me. The staff was very good at explaining the menu items I asked about. They presented some other possibilities. Since they were past the lunch rush, the service was rather quick. I... More

Oh no! Due to a "menu change" D'Amico has ended the famous "buy a glass of our house wine and we will keep your glass generously refilled during the course of your meal," commonly referred to by my friends as the "bottomless glass of wine." The food is great but the bottomless glass was a taste sensation not available in... More

This place used to be a furniture store back in the day and I wanted to try it as a restaurant on my recent return to my home turf, Lowery Uptown. You order at the counter from a bevy of different salads and we chose the sampler plate of three that we split between us. I preferred the Gorganzola having... More

I am a Minnesotan Native and have been living in Colorado for years now. Whenever I go back to MN, D'Amicos is the first place I go to when I get off the plane. The Minneapolis location is my favorite. The staff is very edgy, have tattoos, open minded company and they always provide the best service. The chicken gorgonzola... More

Friendly staff, decent food at a reasonable price. If you're unsure of what to try out, they're great about giving out samples. Cafe style so the restaurant is pretty informal, but if you're looking for casual, it's a great place to check out.

I have to say they have great grab and go for while you are in Uptown and want to picnic in the park. The food is not stellar in any way but it is a staple of Uptown at this point. Decent sandwiches and pasta salads.

One of my customers suggested we try this place for lunch. It was a nice day so we ate outside. You order/pay at a counter and they bring your food to your table. (inside or outside) You serve your own beverage. What a great place. The freshest ingredients in their sandwiches, salads and soups. Stop here for a meal, you... More
