If you read the promotion for the “Wine and Dine” deal at the D’Amico and Son’s cafes and you’re like me, you thought, “What’s the catch”? They have promoted that every Friday and Saturday you can get 2 salads, 2 entrees (pizza, pasta or entrée) PLUS UNLIMITED wine for $30 per couple (ya, that’s $15 per person). I thought there... More

The food was delicious and they serve bottomless wine. Had the garlic roasted shrimp which was wonderful. Great alfresco dining is awesome in the summer time. Charming atmoshpere.

D'Amico & Sons is just what you need in a neighborhood bistro. We lived in Minneapolis back in the last century so it was delightful to see that the Hennepin Ave Uptown branch was still serving excellent bistro style food after all these years! Good value for money especially for families on Sunday when kids eat free.

This is a great spot for a quick or relaxed lunch or dinner on-the-go. You order at the counter from a large selection of salads, sandwiches, and pasta dishes, which are brought to your table when ready. They cheerfully accommodate special preparation requests, and prices are quite reasonable for the variety offered. The "bottomless" glass of house wine offered with... More

Every time I come back to Minneapolis I have to go to D'amicos. The food is very good and the place is very casual, old fashioned italian decor. Worth a try!

Pasta Salads are OK, but I don't understand how they don't offer Machiatos, so I had to order a Capuccino, and IT WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE COFFEE I HAVE EVER TASTE!!!!

If you are looking for Italian food this is one of the best chains in MSP. It is serve yourself and the nice white tile floors with black wood tables give a big airy feel to the environment. I like it better than the deli a mile to the east on 50th as you can typically find a table and... More

The food is simple and delicious! You can't go wrong with the pasta, panini sandwiches, or the delicious pastas and other side dishes. Desserts are good too. Be sure to also give the sunday brunch a try. While we usually go to the Edina location, I was pleasantly surprised to find a branch (with limited menu) and the MSP airport.

This convenient eatery right on Hennepin Avenue (ample parking) provides a reliably good quality meal every single time, at more than affordable prices. With their (bottomless) glass of house wine, nicely priced pastas and entrees, side salads at just $1.95 with entree, and great desserts, it is possible for two to have a leisurely evening meal for $50, with a...
