Delicious Creative Food

Very interesting menu. Chino Latino is a place with shared dishes especially the dinner plates. We had a diverse food selection, squid, buffalo wings, Cuban pork. The restaurant is VERY LOUD but worth it for a meal.

Cool concept...equatorial cuisine. Each dish served comes from a country that sits on the equator. Love that. The food is consistent and pretty good. A bit pricey but not out of sync with the area, and we are just fine with that when the food is awesome, but it's not. It's good. The portions are large enough to share but... More

If you get to try one restaurant in Minneapolis, make sure it's Chino Latino. We tried the Molcajete, which could accurately be described as a "meat volcano." It was a fantastic array of fresh meets paired with veggies and tortillas for a do-it-yourself taco party -- so much deliciousness on one plate! But perhaps even better were the pork belly... More

Things were good, but should have been exquisite given the pricing. It's "not what it used to be". It's been a while, but had been there several times in the (I guess distant) past. Always enjoyable, and this was not an exception. Good, creative menu. Interesting and non-ordinary items. Would go back again, but would be more choosy on the... More

Ate here while in town on a business trip and was very impressed with the service and the food. There were 4 in our group and everything we ordered we enjoyed. The food is family style, so the portions are meant to be shared among several people. Highlight of the meal for me was the French Toast of the Dead,... More

The food was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the corn dish from the vegetarian menu. The drinks were also really delicious. Our server was extremely knowledgable about the menu and made sure our table was well cared for. The only reason I had to give this restaurant a 4/5 ranking is the volume inside made it impossible for people in... More

I'm always impressed with the food here! Pork belly steam buns and bulgogi lettuce cups were amazing. We actually ordered 2 pork bellys! The tuna and ahi poke was new and had great flavor. I was disappointed in the checkerboard sushi. We thought it would be spicy and was very flat and generic. Wasn't up to par with Chino's other... More

This is an awesome restaurant with a cool vibe. Looks like an asian-inspired night club inside. I opted for the patio seating (really on the sidewalk) because it was a pretty nice night out. The staff was great and service was actually pretty quick! The menu is definitely one that is suited to group dining. While the "appetizers" could be... More

Chino Latino is a classic in uptown and a great place to bring a date. On my most recent trip, I stopped in for a few beers with a buddy at the bar. We sat at a high top overlooking the tables below. Great atmosphere and the ladies are always dressed to catch your eye. The bathrooms here confuse some... More

The food was very good. We shared a number of delicious dishes between our family. It was fun to experiment with all kinds of different food......and drinks.
