We had a table by the window looking out at the intersection of Nicollet and 11th street. Perfect to watch the hustle and bustle of downtown Minneapolis. The prefix menu for restaurant week was perfect. We were pleasantly full. We love small food, large plates. The Sommelier chose a nice white wine saving us from choosing from the many options.... My wife and I went here after a symphony concert. The four course tasting menu was just the right amount of food for us and the wine pairings were fantastic. The wait staff was attentive even though we were there very late in the evening. Absolutely one of the best restaurants in the city. Romantic atmosphere and french wines. Can... More

This restaurant is fantastic go for the tasting menu with the wine pairing. You will not be disappointed. I don't normally do that but the selections were outstanding and the wine pairing was generous in quality and quantity for such a low price. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Located on Nicolett Mall...a stone's throw from the Hyatt Regency, this gem of a restaurant has a sophisticated menu that pleased everyone at our table, all used to fine dining. Best of all, many of the dishes could be specially prepared without salt but with other seasonings...including the morel risotto. Not many chefs are willing to adapt their dishes but... More

It was raining and I was looking for the door to Brits Pub, I opened the first door I came too and went in thinking it was Brits Pub, I realized my mistake right away and could have walked out but it was cold and rainy so I decided to stay. Everyone was dressed very nicely and I was in... More

I dined here on a recent beautiful summer evening with a friend and our teen sons. First the good news: the burger and fries were excellent as were the brussel sprouts. The gougere ( spelling?) were tasteless and unappealing. Let me add that I am lucky to have friends who make them well so I know what they should taste... More

Unlike most French restaurants, Vincent’s is not Small and unassuming. To the contrary, Vincent’s occupies a prominent place in downtown Minneapolis and displays itself proudly with large windows that let in lots of light and showcase the clean crisp look of its open spaced dining room and immaculate linens, but all without losing its feel of intimacy. The staff I... More

Vincent a Restaurant is the one of maybe three places that are the ne plus ultra of French dining in Minneapolis. We have many of our important celebrations there, been to private parties, and even sat at the kitchen table for one birthday. Vincent Francoul moved here for love, and stayed to bring us classic fine French dining. The restaurant... More

Tasty but small servings at a higher than small price. It was busy, and maybe it was just me, but I felt once we decided to forgo wine we were secondary. They offer a multiple course tasting menu with wine as an option. Two of four were interested; however, the waiter said it was their policy that we could only... More
