The Vincent burger melted in your mouth. A burger stuffed with short ribs--to die for!! Five of the six of us ordered this burger and we all were members of the clean plate club, no one could stop eating the burger. Unfortunately the restaurant is set to close after 12/31/15.

I dined twice at Vincent A, and both meals were superior. For both meals I ate the house salad, which included crisp and flavorful romaine lettuce well-prepared, with a savory but subtle house dressing. For both meals I ate the "Creams" dessert--a small serving of fan, another of creme brulee, and another of chocolate mousse, which made for a delicious... More

Just a very nice atmosphere and wonderful food. The staff was excellent... attentive but not overbearing. This is a great spot for a special occasion or an upscale business dinner. I will be back.

Had the tasting menu with wine pairing--it was very good. The courses were spaced out far enough so you did not eat too much. We had the cheese course as well, could not pass up Roquefort cheese and a Sauternes wine. The only bad thing is the restaurant will be closing at the end of the year, so your time... More

Had another fantastic meal at Vincent's. I had the Cassoulet, my friend had their burger. Both fantastic. I also had the butternut squash soup topped with sprinkles of blue cheese, that was another great choice. For dessert I had the Madeleine cookies with the dark chocolate sauce and ice cream. I will miss this restaurant when it closes at the... More

My parents live at 1225 LaSalle, so we have enjoyed many meals at Vincent. I am so sorry to hear it will be closing - this is one of the best fine dining establishments in Minneapolis. Make every effort to dine at this restaurant prior to its closing in December. My family and I have made many memories over the... More

Located in a prominent location--Nicollet Mall next to Brit's pub and across the street from Orchestra Hall--this nevertheless doesn't appear the center of attention. But inside, it was both bustling and reasonably sedate, quiet enough to hear across a table for six. The menu didn't strike me as over the top French; it actually felt quite American. My salad (kumato... More

VINCENT - A Minneapolis icon since it opened decades ago on the city's Nicollet Mall, Vincent A Restaurant, its moniker today has always been an underrated and understated dining location. Classically designed and classically hushed, Vincent may seem "old school" compared to the loud, eponymous hipster gourmet places springing up on both sides of the river. Yet this "old school"... I came with a group and we had a nice secluded area upstairs. The server at our table was attentive and polite, though there was a comment from a friend about a server at another table that they thought "was having a bad day". I had a very nice salad and the halibut which was nicely cooked. I have to... More
