Wonderful dinner

Had a fantastic evening at Café Lurcat! Everything we tried was delicious.....apple and cheese salad, mushroom appetizer, cauliflower and an amazing sea bass. The desserts were great too, especially the profiterole. Lovely atmosphere. Great service. Will definitely be back!

Other reviews are accurate, the food is very good. The restaurant is nicely appointed and the building is beautiful. However, the prices for entrees are steep considering the portion size and I don't think it was worth the cost. I understand the quality of the food is high and I've had many wonderful meals other places and generally the portion... More

We often have Easter Brunch at a restaurant, and the places we pick almost always put on their best showing for Easter, but Cafe Lurcat surprised us by being one of the best meals ever on this busy day. For Easter many restaurants have a buffet of both breakfast and dinner foods. I guess they're popular because anyone can eat... More

We were a party of 6. Three had the Sea Bass and loved it. The other three had each one of the three specialties. I had the Squid Ink Linguine with Lobster and thought it was rather salty, but didn't want to say anything. Another had the Stroganoff. It's only when he said his meal was salty did I say... More

Cafe Lurcat is a romantic gem anytime with very good food and wine for reasonable prices. The way the space is designed, I feel myself relaxing every time I go there. It's location on the edge of Loring Park which is a quiet place on the edge of downtown adds to it's ambiance. On Sundays they do a fixed price... More

I love this place! Every time I go there I walk through the door and feel like I'm in another world. Very eclectic decor, fun bar, and great food! Especially the little burgers and fries and the amazing sea bass!! Go there just for fun or for a special occasion! You won't be disappointed!!

I love this restaurant. The food is always excellent, the cocktail list varied and all tasty, and the atmosphere is superb. I've always had attentive, knowledgeably servers who perfectly balance being available without hovering. The menu is a little pricy to be sure, but for a special occasion or the occasional splurge I highly recommend it!

Ok. You don't go to Cafe Lurcat for desserts but maybe you should! We had a great evening at Lurcat. Appetizers, extensive wine list - settled on a Chappellet Cab, Entrees were excellent as one would expect, wait staff and atmosphere were excellent but the desserts wow. Dark Chocolate Profiteroles with Salted Carmel Ice Cream and Spiced Candied Pecans. Orange... More

We took our 3 kids to dinner here - 6:30 reservations on a Friday night. It was almost empty and they gave us the best table in the house. We ordered ourselves a bottle of wine and the kids chose their drinks - one being a virgin pomegranate mojito - excellent. Waitstaff was chatty, informed and on the spot with... More
