We visited a little on the early side for dinner. The aroma of whatever was cooking was tantalizing! One of us had a fish dinner, he said the best Chilean bass he has ever had. Two of us had beef, both really excellent, the bread was good, our shared brussel sprouts were great. Good service, pleasant surroundings, nice location. But... More

This is my go to place for date night, client meetings, or just connecting with friends. Its fancy without being over the top. There are options for delicious dinner or bar snacks. The service is by far better than any other place in the area. I absolutely love this place.

We had a group dinner at Cafe Lurcat, which started with appetizers - the most popular was the sliders which were really great, most people were expecting the usual tiny burgers but these were exceptionally tasty. Equally great were the red wine meatballs. We had our dinner served family style so we got to taste a wide variety of food... More

Sometimes those last minute ideas are the best. Indian summer friday nite may be the last perfect evening of the year. Decided to take the dog to Loring Park and see if this restaurant still allows dogs on their outdoor patio. Yea!!! The leaves were littered the patio with a wonderful evening atmosphere, perfect temperature. Had a wonderful HH eating,... More

We eat at Lurcat frequently. Often we'll have a drink in the pleasant bar before dining. This time we split some items on the " small tastes" bar menu. Short rib lettuce wraps, lamb sandwich, mahi mahi taco. Throw in a side of " as good as McDonald's" fries and it was the perfect meal. All great,,all fun!

Our large party began with appetizers and drinks in the back courtyard and later were served in a private room. We had enough very attentive and professional servers, the food was excellent and there was lots. We felt special.

My business group chose Cafe Lurcat for dinner. When we arrived I was a bit put off as the Cafe seemed a bit stuffy and this is not the vibe of our group. Boy was I wrong. Let's begin with the service. Impeccable. The wait staff was knowledgable, passionate about the menu, prompt, and courteous to a fault. The menu...what... More

What a great place. Food was absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere was great. We had a large party, so I am sure we also had a scaled down menu. Apple salad was delicious and the family style veggies were a nice surprise. Would recommend!
