I always feel like I am in NY when I eat here. The restaurant is just lovely; the old building is so rambling and nicely decorated, and many of the tables overlook the park. Loring Park is a pretty area and there is often something going on. The food is terrific, very nicely prepared and varied enough to be interesting,... More

Lurcat has been feeding the well healed masses for some time. The old building across from Loring Park is packed with cool urbane decor and a professional staff. Presently, Minneapolis is in its ugly, gray, dirty winter to spring transition so the park is not much to look at. The replacement of the curbs across the street from Lurcat does... More

Went with some family for a great dinner. We all ordered different items and sampled each other's; Salmon, simple and perfect, Veal shoulder, vibrant and hearty, Sea Bass, firm and succulent, Pot Roast, deeply tasteful, all the meals were great. the sides were tasty and don't miss the apple and cheese salad. Desserts were underwhelming, you can safely pass and... More

The food was excellent. Our server was perfect. The free mini donuts at the end were a nice touch. The atmosphere and people watching we're great. BUT.......the host was unfriendly and a bit snobbish. Like I said, FIRST IMPRESSIONS COUNT

Pleasant surprise to have restaurant week menu as an option; it was a compilation of a la carte options which is great, including special desserts. The appetizers, entrees and dessert (chocolate panna cote) were all amazing. Servers were quite attentive which is a nice touch. The venue is a great date spot, quiet and romantic.

This is a beautiful restaurant and continues to deliver quality food and service over the years. Had the beef filet recently and roasted brussel sprouts and squash. All were excellent. Filet was cut-with-your fork tender. Service was excellent. They do need to expand their wine list - both for bottles and by-the-glass selections.

My husband took me to Cafe Lurcat for my birthday and it was fabulous! Th waiter recommended the filet and I ordered it rare. It was the best steak I have ever had…melt in your mouth with oysters and mushrooms in a red wine sauce. My husband had the veal which was also cooked to perfection. We didn't order dessert,... More

Attentive and knowledgeable service, well prepared vegetables, a nice selection of main dishes from fish to steak are what one expects from a D'Amico & Partners restaurant. Lurcat does it all in a comfortably cozy, yet open environment overlooking Loring Park.

We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday evening date night. We went with friends and had the Date Night special. There were excellent choices in food and we added the roasted Brussel sprouts which were excellent!
