I had breakfast at Victor's yesterday. What a cool place! While there is limited seating inside (maybe 30) and outdoor seating (about 25 -30); with limited parking as the neighborhood is mostly residential; Victor's is a gem that is worth checking out. I had the Mrs. Stavrou's breakfast sandwich. Others in our group had the Crab cakes with poached eggs... More

Breakfast at Victor's was a delightful experience in every way. The menu is divided into Cuban-inspired and standard American options. We selected the Cuban hash and the Dia y Noche -- and we were blown away. Perfectly prepared eggs, delicious rice and beans, hearty Cuban toast, ground beef mixed with capers and raisins, and the sweet taste of plantains--yum! The... More

Went for Sunday brunch. The restaurant is packed and very tiny, but they did a good job of getting people through. I had the Cuban Sandwich; the mustard was good and the ham was awesome, but the pork seemed like it was overcooked or old- and that was the prominent ingredient of the sandwich. The beans and rice were nothing... More

Choose this restaurant due to Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives of which it qualifies. Cuban based food so expect black beans, rice, etc. I had a new item on the menu, Crab Cakes and Poached Eggs. Great combo which I thoroughly enjoyed, first time having crab cakes for breakfast. My wife would highly recommend the Cuban bread.

The thing that sells Victor's is the quirky, small restaurant that seems to have much personality. The empanadas were nice, and the drinks good as well. I had the vegetarian platter and was slightly disappointed to see that my rice was a little dry. Since I had yucca and plantains, this dryness was accentuated. Our waitress was fast and personable,... More

This is such a cool, unique little restaurant. The decor and atmosphere is fantastic, always nice music playing, lots of plans and flowers, and it's in a great location. The food is delicious and they're aren't too many other restaurants with a similar offering. I've only had their breakfasts but it is fantastic Cuban food. Very genuine and friendly staff... More

This was my first expereice with Cuban food, and I'm pretty sure that there will be more to come after this. So what's so special? The ambience is funky in a way, yet, warm cozy and inviting. The menu isn't extensive by any means, but they have got a few specialties and they are perfect! We had no clue what... More

What I love about Victors is that they aren't afraid to do something different. We spent a month in Costa Rica eating fried yucca, plantains, rice, and beans. The yucca and plantains are hard to find in Minneapolis! But not at Victors. Victors takes fresh ingredients and mixes things together that many American restaurants don't dare to try. The building... More

Victor’s is right in the middle of the Kingfield neighborhood, with residential buildings next door. The place was actually originally a gas station that was converted to a restaurant and then eventually Victor’s in 1999, but it is known and loved by locals. It is a great foil to The Corner Table, another Kingfield restaurant - instead of classed up... More

Stopped in Minneapolis on a cross-country trip to visit friends, and they selected Victor's for us all to have dinner. A brightly painted one-story corner building in a middle class neighborhood, Victor's is a popular place, and we were fortunate to get a booth upon arrival. Markers are left on every table, and patrons are invited to write on any... More
