The food was good to very good, service was fun, prices were tolerable. The place is a dive, but they don't hide that fact. Graffiti everywhere, even on seat backs -- which concerned me with a light colored shirt. A young woman was standing on her bench to add more to the light fixture near us. I'm not a fan... More

I've always liked Cuban food but there's no Cuban joints close to where I live. Having seen Victor's on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives I was able to get my wife to try Cuban. She loved the Cuban sandwich and saw more than a few other dishes on the menu that sounded appealling. I was in the mood for breakfast so... More

We waited (outside in March) for about 30 minutes, but it was well worth it! Luckily, it was a sunny and warm day! There is no waiting room inside. Seating is very tight, but it seems to be a very popular destination. We had the Cuban Sandwich and the Cuban Hash. Both delicious! Ask for the guava jam!

I was first told about this Restaurant several years ago from a past client of mine. I am a vegetarian and was so excited to go there. I have been going for the past several years, and have never been disappointed. The service is always excellent and the mango pancake is absolutely fantastic. I love to split the mango pancake... Fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs prepared exactly as requested, thin crisp bacon (not burned) and mango that was as good as if it was freshly picked in Hawaii made me very happy. My son ordered a side of black beans and rice and he and my daughter both said the taste was excellent. The fried plantain and croquetas were also... More

Got here by 8:30am on a Saturday during the holidays and our party of 6 was able to sit right away, 20 minutes later there was a huge line. Service was very good. Drinks (juice, hot chocolate and coffee) were exceptional. The food was tasty - although based on the previous reviews I was expecting a lot more! The best... More

Service was great. We waited an hour in the cold which was our choice, but I certainly wouldn't do it again. Food was average. We ordered several Cuban breakfast entrees and they were just ok. The coffee was very good. I didn't mind the cramped sort of dirty atmosphere because we had a large booth for the two of us.... More

I have dined at Victor's twice so far. Both times I had a good time, ate good food, and left wanting to quickly return! Whenever we are in Miami we treat ourselves to Cuban food. It is wonderful having Cuban fare right in the heart of Minneapolis - minus the airfare! I've enjoyed the vegetarian dish and especially like the... More

Finally got to Victor's after hearing about it so many times from my sister and brother-in-law who live nearby. Had the extremely delicious Ranchero Cubano for breakfast - can't wait to go back!

I found this small "hole in the wall" on line and it sounded wonderful. Authentic Cuban food that was big on taste and quite moderate in price. The Ropa Vieja was amazing, full of flavor (garlic, onions, peppers, sherry and beef), simmered till the meat was tender and delicious. The Lechon Asado, was also good, but was a bit dry.... More
