As soon as you spot Victor's 1959 Cafe you can tell you are heading towards an experience. The exterior belies that the place is unique. The interior is even crazier. There is writing on almost every inch of the place. It is certainly not a high falootin place it has lots and lots of personality. The food and service are... More

Liked it so much, I went twice. A "hole in the wall" with tremendous "ambiance". A really neat place. Authentic Cuban food. I have to echo everyone else. The wait staff is fun, informative and lively. Sat at the counter one time (has 4 seats) and you get to "watch the show" and sat outside on their patio the second... More

We stopped at Victor's 1959 Cafe for a quick bit to eat on our way to the airport. Unfortunately we stopped in during one of their busiest times of day during lunch but we chanced it and have no regrets. The place itself is very small. The staff was friendly and courteous. They have a small bar area and serve... More

Never heard of this place until a biz meeting was set up. Watched the Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives clip on YouTube to prepare. Had the Picadillo that Guy Fierri recommended and was not disappointed but would like it a bit spicier. Colleagues all had fantastic meals and I was coveting the pulled pork and Cuban sandwich. Love the slice of... More

Look no further for an authentic Cuban restaurant. I have had many Cubanos and they can't even touch the authentic flavor of this sandwich at Victors! This is one of their signature menu items. Large and tasty! This time at the suggestion of the waitress I added spanish chorizo sausage for 1.00 to the sandwich. I was not disappointed. I... More

I had breakfast at Victor's yesterday. What a cool place! While there is limited seating inside (maybe 30) and outdoor seating (about 25 -30); with limited parking as the neighborhood is mostly residential; Victor's is a gem that is worth checking out. I had the Mrs. Stavrou's breakfast sandwich. Others in our group had the Crab cakes with poached eggs... More

Breakfast at Victor's was a delightful experience in every way. The menu is divided into Cuban-inspired and standard American options. We selected the Cuban hash and the Dia y Noche -- and we were blown away. Perfectly prepared eggs, delicious rice and beans, hearty Cuban toast, ground beef mixed with capers and raisins, and the sweet taste of plantains--yum! The... More

Went for Sunday brunch. The restaurant is packed and very tiny, but they did a good job of getting people through. I had the Cuban Sandwich; the mustard was good and the ham was awesome, but the pork seemed like it was overcooked or old- and that was the prominent ingredient of the sandwich. The beans and rice were nothing... More

Choose this restaurant due to Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives of which it qualifies. Cuban based food so expect black beans, rice, etc. I had a new item on the menu, Crab Cakes and Poached Eggs. Great combo which I thoroughly enjoyed, first time having crab cakes for breakfast. My wife would highly recommend the Cuban bread.
