Not your Greek diner fare (although there's certainly nothing wrong with that either), these dishes are elegantly seasoned and imaginatively presented. I particularly like the roasted lamb, the pastistio (sp?) and the mousaka. The mousaka has a wonderful aroma that you can appreciate from the next table!

The food is fresh and delicious! Other Greek places I have tried in the Twin Cities were disappointing, this is the real deal.

We went on a Saturday night with no reservation - not good! We were told the wait would be about 20 - 30 minutes but it took almost an hour, that was ok because we didn't have a reservation and it was full! We had to wait 20 minutes for a space at the bar, ordered drinks and it took... More

Went there for lunch with friends. Service staff friendly and helpful with suggestions. The Greek food was very good. We all had a gyro, appetizer and dessert. The fries with the gyro were excellent. Everything was authentic and good. It's a small, cozy restaurant. Parking at inexpensive meters in front of the restaurant. One of the best cups of coffee... More

This is one of my favorite places in Minneapolis. The food is light and healthy. They have a great selection of dips to start your meal. Try the Greek coffee or lemonade made with honey- you won't find them anywhere else!

So, of course I've read over and over again how this is the best Greek food in Minneapolis. We decided to try it for take out the other night when I didn't feel like cooking. This place has the worst signage of any restaurant in the Twin Cities. I had the exact address and directions and I'm very familiar with... More

Coming from the third biggest Greek city in the world, Melbourne , Australia, we were both surprised and delighted to experience great Greek food in Minneapolis, of all places. Our lunch experience was simply wonderful...from the clearly home made and flavoursome dips ( loved the tarama, spinahc and feta boughats to die for and the garlicky skordalia) to the fabulous,... We went to Salonica with another couple. We had reservations and were seated right away. We received water right away but didn't have our drink order taken for about 15 minutes, this pretty much set the pace for service the rest of the night. The staff, although a bit slow, were very friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes. We... More

My family and I have eaten here dozens of times. A pleasant, small space, with lots of natural light. Absolutely delicious Greek food, lovingly prepared. Highly recommend the series of appetizers (a sampler plate of three makes a great meal), vegetarian sandwhich, a spectacular giant lima bean dish, the Greek fries - and on and on. For those of us... I go for the Greek fries (thin, light, crispy) and the malatzana (sp?) the creamy eggplant dip. I bring my friends for the Gyro's. The specials are not cheap, so be sure to ask how much before ordering. Not the best beer/wine selection, but we go for the food, not the beverages. Oh, but the peppermint iced tea is fabulous!
