We celebrated my wife's birthday there. Since it is a bit pricey we only go there on special occasions. We had a noisey table right next to the bar, but that may have been since we changed our reservation to Sat from Fri. on Thurs. I assume the table would have been better had we stuck with the Fri. reservation.... More

This was our first visit to the Oceanaire at the new location, I have been many times to the old location in the Hyatt. The new location is great, it seems like a much larger location then the old spot. The Food and the Service were great, as usual. I had the Halibut done blackened with a Blue Cheese compound... More

I chose the Oceanaire to have dinner with my family for my birthday, on Saturday night. The place was packed but our reservation was honored on time, which was very nice. The food we had was good, but I cannot believe what they charge for dishes that are similar to what one can get in other places (i.e., Lurcat, Vincent's,... More

guess my standards are much higher than most as I have lived near Chart House in Malibu, spent a lot of time in Florida during the winter months and have made it a point to find the best seafood, specifically, shrimp. I have tried to warm up to Oceanaire over the years but always leave like I have paid way... More

One of my favorite restaurants going back 20 years. Mostly disappointed recently. Increased prices and reduced quality. In the past, for example, I purchased a whole key lime pie. It was among the best I ever had. Latest experience left me feeling like the pie came from an "all you can eat" buffet. Crab cake - which with the right... More

You cannot live any further away from an ocean than living in Minnesota. Having a place with fresh seafood is a treat although the cost would make a person from either coast or the Gulf blanch. Oceanaire is a very nice place to celebrate.

Oceanaire is well-regarded in the city, and is fun in its decoration and food presentation. Great round booth. Nice wine list.

Really like the space - good lighting and table spacing. Some of the wait-staff are GREAT (John in the bar) but one one in particular seems cross and bitter and isn't fun to deal with. The food is good - very fresh seafood. I think that it's best eaten simply grilled. Cocktails excelllent.

Dissapointed. For the past 3 years we've gone back in hopes that something would change from the old oceanaires location on nicollet ave. Everytime the food has come out cold. Lobster is cold, the butter was so cold that is gelled up. The rib-eye was so fatty "NOT MARBLED" that we had a pile of mush fat left over. The... More
