This is a very nice restaurant with an excellent seafood menu and an impressive wine list. If you order an entree and split some sides, you should expect to pay over $100/person including drinks and tip. Our bill was more than that, but we found a bottle of J Rochioli pinot noir that we wanted to try. That being said,... More

This restaurant is five star worthy I am sure all the famous people go there! We were walkin around downtown when we came across this place so we went in, the wait staff was pleasant but it seemed like they took our order and left us alone. Now I am not a fancy person but I was wearing nice clothes... More

My husband and I went to The Oceanaire to eat before going to the Garth Brooks concert Saturday evening. We had a 6:30 reservation and were a few minutes late. The reception staff was helpful but not the friendliest group. We had to wait to a bit after 7pm before being seated. Once seated our waiter "Doug" more than made... More

There is no ocean near Minneapolis, but being a major flight hub helps. I consider this the go to place for the freshest seafood, fish and shellfish and their none-seafood is great as well. The clam chowder or lobster bisque is not to be passed up. Yes it is going to cost you a tidy sum, but its worth it.... More

Hands down, the best fish/oyster/seafood joint you'll find in the midwest. You'll pay for it too - as it can be spendy. To give you an idea, our group of four each had a cocktail with dinner and ran our bill to about $500, so $600 with the tip. Service was also first-rate, absolutely no complaints. Servers are quite helpful... More

Stylish, pricey seafood spot known for its fresh fish and attentive service. This is definitely a power dining spot with lots of groups spending lots of dough on expensive seafood. With all the attorney's in the building above the place stays pretty busy. While the Food quality is first rate, this is by far one of the more expensive restaurants... More

Great menu and the food was ridiculously good. Consider the whole arctic char - but share it. The portion is huge, so you can get a couple of sides. The service has always been outstanding and the servers knowledgeable. It is pricey, but it is so good. We always try to be respectful and fun - the servers respond in... More

So this was supposed to be a birthday dinner for 2 out of the 4 of us. We reserved a week ahead of time, asked for a booth as we had planned on being there for awhile eating and drinking. We arrived and were sat in the middle of the restaurant with tight close proximity of everyone else, so close... More

My coworkers and I went to the Oceanaire for Restaurant week. I was looking forward to it as I've never been to the Oceanaire before. The atmosphere is really nice, although the dining area seemed a bit crowded (maybe a few too many tables). We were seated right away but took 10-15 minutes before we were even acknowledged and we... High end seafood place. Great ambiance. Server was very knowledgeable about the menu. Food was perfectly prepared. One if the best meals I've had in the Twin Cities. Very pricey, but a treat for the tastebuds.
