Just too expensive

Very good but that's it. Enjoyed great service. Quality wines. Appetiser of soft shell crab and entree wild salmon duo. But overpriced.

This was my first time to Minneapolis. Based on the online reviews we choose Oceanaire. The service was great. Loved the decor. The was was nothing more then average. If anything a little bland. I order the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were over cooked and there was barely any sauce and barely any garlic. My partner ordered the burmundy. It... More

We visited the Oceannaire for a birthday celebration. As expected, the food was excellent, the server very attentive and the ambiance was wonderful. While the portions are undoubtedly very small and expensive, the food is always fresh and top quality. Our server was wonderful. When he found out we were there for a birthday, he went to great lengths to... More

+ Great Seafood + Nice atmosphere + Delicious Baked Alaska + Recommend for more major events and celebrations - Fairly pricey -If you want good seafood that isn't as pricey, stick with local faire like walleye, sunnies, or other great lakes options at other places to eat.

This is one of the best seafood restaurants in Minneapolis-St Paul. The oysters are always fresh as well as other seafood. To get the freshest seafood ask the waiter/waitress for recommendations. We recommend an appetizer, salad course, and main entree. If the entree is a fresh fish preparation add one or two sides(they are generous). Desserts are excellent and enough... More

Our server was very poor. I don't think she was reflects the rest of the staff but an hour and a half for some oysters and entrée served by another server we had to flag on by left us disappointed.

I love the Oceanaire in san diego. This restaurant has average quality food with average service. It was my second time here as a seafood lover but i am not impressed.

My wife and I took my assistant out for what we expected to be a nice dinner to celebrate an event with us. One of us didn't drink. It was a busy night and we had a table right in the middle of the floor. As soon as we told our waiter we would not drink wine or order drinks,... More

Save your money and fly your body to an ocean where there is seafood. While the food is fine and well prepared, it's just not memorable and is overpriced. It took me a few trips to realize Oceanaire is a chain restaurant and, while a few steps above the fast -food of seafood (RL), it's still just another chain.
