We had a girls night out. The dinner was absolutely wonderful. It would rank on the top five dinners we've ever had in Minneapolis. The staff was amazing. Highly recommend.

Having dined at a couple of other locations of this chain, I was expecting a great seafood meal. The Oceanaire is well situated in the central business district close to major hotels and offices. The restaurant is fitted out in the corporate Oceanaire "liner" style and ambiance is good. Our waiter was very good in terms of service and explaining... More

I had been to the Oceanaire for dinner couple of years ago and it was a wonderful experience- so in June, a friend and I decided to try out their Happy Hour menu- what a delight! The oysters were just great - I had to have more than one serving- plump, fresh and the shrimp and grits that my friend... More

If you want faster and quieter service, go early. We had oysters, caviar, marlin, barramundi, and banana cream pie with white, red, and desert wines. Really good service. The food was really great - every course. Highly recommend.

We ordered the escargo as an app and it was delicious! We had the halibut and the Canadianan walleye. The halibut was good but the walleye was exceptional. Side dish was the grilled squash, very good. Can;t wait to go back!

Walked in at 6:45 and with 15 min to spare on happy hour I sat at the long bar to people watch and watch B Ball on the quiet flat screen overhead. Calamari was excellent as we're the crab cake sliders. Each H Hour item was $6-7 so added fresh shucked raw oysters which are iced and open for u... More

I've been there for lunch with clients several times and seafood is quite fresh. Try the seafood chop salad and I just love their crab cakes. If you are under a time crunch, they can get you in and out pretty quickly.

We previously dined at Oceanaire in its other location and found it to a be a very good restaurant. It's new location, although a little noisier, is equally as good. We had been forewarned about some of its offerings and the quality of its food but were not prepared for the outstanding Arctic Char we ordered. It was an entire,... More

Made reservations as part of a trip downtown for weekend getaway. Also stayed at Marquette hotel, attended Saturday Twins day game and ate at Barrio. Had never dined here before. Arrived about a hour early by design to enjoy cerviche on patio. Heavy equipment road construction going on directly across the street, loud but tolerable. Good cerviche and a cocktail... More

I was here for a business dinner with some co-workers and a customer. I had the Australian Sea Bass "Barramundi" and it was fantastic. We had an array of sides that were fantastic and dessert also. I would definitely recommend Oceanaire for a business dinner or special occassion.
