Our table of 8 was very disappointed in our entrees which were generally ALL over cooked (swordfish and shrimp ravioli)! Our disappointed deepened when they were served to us lukewarm. The bed of potatoes for the swordfish was really, really average, and again, served cold. This restaurant is too expensive to make these mistakes. Even the chocolate dessert was dry... More

The food here was amazing, all four of us loved our meals with the exception of one person who's food was cold, but that was due to the server. She was very friendly but very slow. Luckily we weren't in a hurry because dinner took about two and a half hours. The atmosphere is hip and upscale and the dining... More

Went here with my wife for restaurant week. Our server John was sensational! Our food was average at best. Ask to sit in the private room, it is much quieter. We ordered au gratin potatoes that were undercooked. The potatoes were still hard and even crunchy and they were $11! They made us some new ones which were better but... More

I've been to this place both at the new venue and the old one. Previously, Oceanaire was a sought after dinner venue with great seafood, and at the time value in delivering fresh and delicious food. While it was always a treat to eat here, because prices were high, I still left feeling that I had treated myself to something... More

This is a fine dining restaurant with an excellent menu and extraordinary wine list. We tested it out during the Mpls- St Paul Restaurant Week, 3-courses for $30. While we felt the meals were good for the special pricing, the regular menu items at twice the price would not have been worth it for the quality we received. The flavorings... More

Awesome special menu. Everything sounded good and was hard to select a choice. Meal started with complimentary relish tray, pickled herring and warm sourdough bread. Caesar salad and mini crab cakes were very good. The salmon, mahi and shrimp entrees were all well prepared. Death by chocolate and chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich were bith excellent. Portions were perfect... More

We have went to Oceanaire about 5 times. The old location was very good. The new location is the loudest restaurant we have ever been to. We were there with another couple on a Saturday evening and could not have a conversation. The food is always very good though.

The fish is so fresh; all the food is delicious and well presented. Drinks are ample. And the prices are high. So if you're ready to spend a bunch -- enjoy.
