Oceanaire is my favorite spot to dine in Minneapolis. I try to get there every time I'm in town. The food is always wonderful, the dirty martinis are always perfect and John B. is about the best server you could ask for! If you like escargot try theirs with garlic butter and puff pastry, the shrimp and grits and fried... More

Our server was fantastic. He had great recommendations on wine and food. He was also quite funny. We had an app and a bunch of drinks and lobster and scallops and the bill for 2 of us was $330 including 20% tip. Expensive yes but we had an unforgettable night. Worth every penny.

I love seafood, but I love it pure--not swimming in sauces or mixed up amongst other foodstuff. For that reason, I really love Oceanaire. I have eaten here numerous times and can't say I've ever had a bad meal. I always like to start with one of their great salads (large enough to share with another), especially the warm spinach... I have been dining at Oceanaire for over twelve years. Their previous location in the Hyatt Hotel was just across the Greenway from our condo so it was very convenient. I really liked the look and feel of the old location. It was like steeping back to the 40s in a beautiful old luxury liner. At that time I would... More

Nice location close to target center. Atmosphere good abit noisey not bad. Service very good advise reservation. Happy hour is at bar only. Calamari over priced for amount and taste more sliced peppers and onion than calamari. I tried Idaho red trout (not sure came from Idaho) was ok, others at table had scallops, shrimp scampi and salmon. Side dishes... More

Atmosphere was great, and the food was even better. Service was outstanding! The salmon melted in my mouth and the appetizers were top notch.

The menu selection at Oceanaire is wonderful and the seafood selection is just amazing. The fish is flown in fresh and the taste of the fresh fish is indescribable! You will not be disappointed no matter what you order and the service is just top notch. You just will not find a finer fish restaurant experience anywhere. Oceanaire has my... More

Minneapolis and Saint Paul may not be known for seafood, but I think the Oceanaire is one of the best of the local scene. The variety and quality of the food is excellent and you will find all of the usual seafood options here in classic form with a touch of inspiration, prepared and served to perfection. Of course that... More

I wish all Trip Advisors participants could afford this place. It's wonderful. If it's your birthday or anniversary, mention that in the beginning. A Saturday night dinner here was one of the best we've have in 40 years of marriage. Having visited dozens of restaurants in Mpls, I'd say the food, beautiful of the room and service place it in...
