This place has such a nice setting. They go above and beyond to make you feel like you are the only one in the restaurant, and do little things to acknowledge you. I ate foods I don't normally order here in MN because it never tastes fresh, but the Oceanaire did not disappoint- all of it tasted like it had... More

It was beautiful in decor, the wait staff very professional, our waitress was wonderful at making recommendations , the food was absolutely gorgeous, the drinks were perfectly done, beware the sides could have fed four people :-) its only drawback is the night we were there is was just ridiculously loud, we had to nearly shout to be heard at... Oceanaire has great service, a very nice atmosphere and a very attractive menu, but the food just doesn't hold up. The menu selections looked very appealing, but the food tended to be over sauced and salted and over cooked. My scallops were a extremely salty and the risotto was more like a mushy rice. My daughter's filet with lobster en... More

Went there for my birthday. Everything was perfect - the lump crab cake, the wedge salad with bacon bits and blue cheese, the seared Massachusetts' scallops (yum) and the free birthday flaming baked Alaska. The server was exceptional - attentive, friendly, funny. Only reason for the 4 stars are the lobster bisque, tasty but with only one small piece of... More

Ambiance, extent of menu, quality of cuisine, none better. Cost reasonable, always on the schedule for "those" occasion, birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions or when the apatite calls for something special. Give it a go and let me know! Bob Galloway

We had a really great experience here. The food was wonderful and the service was superb. We both had lobster which was done perfectly. The scallions and grilled shrimp were great enhancements to our meal. The restaurant was very lively but it was still easy to cary on a conversation. Very nice facility and it was easy to get to.... Six of us had dinner here before a concert on December 12. The atmosphere is nice; but similar to most high-end restaurants -- nothing really stood out. Our server was Tony and he was the best part of the evening! We appreciated his feedback when we asked questions. He is very knowledgeable and spot on with his food descriptions. His... More

We were greeted as soon as we arrived and only had a short wait before we were seated in a nice room off the entrance area. It was a smaller room than the main room with tables to seat 16. It was a quieter room than the main room and just what we were hoping for. John our waiter was... More

I traveled to Minneapolis on business. I had two business lunches at the restaurant. Both times, it was perfect - location, decor, food, and service. The fish was cooked perfectly. The staff was professional and friendly. The room was quiet, so we could have relaxed conversation. I highly recommend it.

We thought the food was fine, but the service was so poor that it gave an overall impression of being a very overpriced restaurant, not worth the visit. One of us ordered an appetizer, which the waiter was reminded of after the entree was served. Entrees are served without any sides which must be ordered seperately. Our waiter did not... More
