You’d swear this place has been around since the '40s. A bar commands the narrow room flanked by booths and tables. Servers in coats, bartenders in jackets yet with a casual air that screams welcome. American classics; juicy hand-formed burgers. Lunchtime, a carver chef slices fresh roast beef and roast turkey for sandwiches. Small plates span America’s history; supper club shrimp cocktail up-to-the-minute items as tuna tataki, fresh guacamole prepared table side, fresh spring rolls stuffed with rice noodles, shrimp and holy basil. “Big Plates”; Fillet Oscar, homemade meat loaf, pork prime rib, house smoked ribs, all can include soup, salad, bread and a basket of plastic-wrapped crackers, just like in the old days. Ike's has a serious bar, strong drinks, vintage cocktails and ice cream drinks a good selection of beers and wines by the glass. Ike's is one of downtown's favorite; retro booths, antique wood bar, with a supper-club feel.

Nice Casual Cocktail Lounge with Dinner

Great burgers. I sat at the bar for an early dinner. My burger was cooked perfectly. Fries were good, and the cole slaw was excellent. Very nice selection of beers on draft, and the list had some cocktails that looked very good. Didn't have to sample them.

This is one of my favorite spots for downtown eating. Close to light rail, easy to get to. Took my Mom to the Macy's Flower Show and the restaurant is practically next door. Awesome burgers and great service. Ok yeah, the burger I had was $17, but you get massive amounts of fries and a side of coleslaw. Mom had... More

We went to this place for the f it rst time on one of our "date nights". We then stayed downtown and because it was so fantastic the night before, we went back the next morning for their famous breakfast. It is a great place for food and drink. The staff is super friendly and the portions are big. Great... More

Met some friends here for dinner last weekend. We had a reservation but the restaurant was only half full at 7pm. Menu needs some life to it - the table ordered Shrimp Cocktail, Calamari, Caesar Salads, Twin Sandwiches & Filet. The food was fine - the product was good quality just lacked a bit of flavor. The service needs work... More

Stopped in here for lunch on a weekend. Loved the burger and the salad had a homemade dressing which was outstanding. Cool vibe in the place. The only knock I have is that the WEEKEND lunch menu is extremely limited. I'd like to see more options. Nevertheless we'll give it another try.

I eat at Ikes at the airport every time I visit the area and have for 10 years. Never had a bad meal. portions are huge so don't eat all day before or after or bring a friend to split something. Service is always excellent and they make good old fashioned proper cocktails.

I have always enjoyed Ike's in the main concourse at the Minneapolis airport so I was happy to see Ike's on Summit across from me at Gate F6 on Jan. 20,2015. I was appalled at the service I received. The hostess was exceptionally rude to me. Her tone of voice and put upon attitude while seating me was unacceptable. Then,... More

Great staff made me feel welcome with a lot of time on my hands. Drinks were properly poured and the steak was a little overcooked but the waiter brought out another one right away

Went here later on a Friday evening. The place was hopping. There is a huge bar down the center with tables on each side. The food smelled great. The portions were huge. I had their most popular burger which is part prime rib. They rank the burgers by popularity from top to bottom. It is not cheap but the food... More
