Description: You’d swear this place has been around since the '40s. A bar commands the narrow room flanked by booths and tables. Servers in coats, bartenders in jackets yet with a casual air that screams welcome. American classics; juicy hand-formed burgers. Lunchtime, a carver chef slices fresh roast beef and roast turkey for sandwiches. Small plates span America’s history; supper club shrimp cocktail up-to-the-minute items as tuna tataki, fresh guacamole prepared table side, fresh spring rolls stuffed with rice noodles, shrimp and holy basil. “Big Plates”; Fillet Oscar, homemade meat loaf, pork prime rib, house smoked ribs, all can include soup, salad, bread and a basket of plastic-wrapped crackers, just like in the old days. Ike's has a serious bar, strong drinks, vintage cocktails and ice cream drinks a good selection of beers and wines by the glass. Ike's is one of downtown's favorite; retro booths, antique wood bar, with a supper-club feel.

My husband and I had this restaurant recommended to us by our hotel. It was such a great surprise. It's a funky little place with fantastic food and good service. We both had different burgers, both were really good and very large. If you are looking for casual dining with great food I would highly recommend Ikes.

My friend and I arrived in Minnesota Airport after being up since 3am for an early flight. We had a long layover there & I hadn't eaten breakfast so we went to Ike's. I had a 'breakfast burger' which was a first for me. It was excellent! The hashbrowns that came with it needed salt, they were pretty bland but... More

My husband and I dined here on our annual DT MPLS winter outing. We really enjoyed the food & experience! It was a Sunday night, we walked in and the place was semi-packed, the host asked if we had reservations (we didn't), she said we could sit at the bar, which was fine with us. Our bartender/server was great, the... More

A pre-Christmas lunch for visitors from out of town and they were really impressed with the interior. We had the “Dean and Frank” booth in the back which was fun to have “intimate” dining. 12 tap beers, fresh squeezed juices for their cocktails and a limited menu with burgers, carved meat. I really enjoy going to this place. A couple... More

Holidays season and Ike's was understaffed so it took quite a while to get anything at all. Not a good thing for a restaurant in an airport when you have to catch a connecting flight. I even got my own coffee to help out. The food was average. will try something else next time.

We stopped at Ike's on our way to the Viking's game at the recommendation of the concierge of the hotel we stayed at. The excellent staff made this experience so much fun. We came for brunch and enjoyed a delicious caramel roll and one of the biggest bloody mary's I have ever have. I would love to come check out... More

Stopped at Ike's at the recommendation of a shop owner a few blocks away for a burger and a Bloody Mary. Wow. Maybe the best burger I've ever had. And the Bloody Mary was a meal in itself. The place was very clean and the the staff friendly. Go there if you crave a burger!

My husband and I ate here before a flight on New Years Day. I was super excited to try their BLT. It arrived absolutely drowned in honey. When I read honey bacon on the menu I assumed it was bacon slightly flavored with honey like maple flavored or hickory smoked bacon. No. It was a BLT with at least a... More

We ate at the original downtown Minneapolis location. They also have two at the MSP Airport. Ike's was recommended from our hotel (Westin) asst. manager. Ike's presents a pub atmosphere, probably more well known for their cocktails and not their food. The seating was comfortable. Our server, Kerry was efficient and swift. Honestly, we only had the "smokey" wings, fries... More

It is hard to find places passengers can truly get away from it all in airports. Ike's presents a relaxing, but fun environment in the MSP International Airport and their food is absolutely amazing. They specialize in delicious Wild Rice Chicken Soup, Fresh Bread, Walleye, Burgers & Steaks and the best Honey Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich I've ever eaten... More
